What is D.Resurgere?
D.Resurgere is a community following the same pattern as the main D.Gray-Man community ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) dgray_man. However, there are a few small but significant differences.
This is a group made up of members who want nothing more than to enjoy their fandom without being involved in all the stupidity. Therefore, this group is Members Only, and new members can only join once invited by previously existing members.
In a nutshell: If you have not been invited by someone who is already a member of this group, you cannot join.
Probably thinking why this information is even posted here, aren’t you? Well, it’s for reference, for those who wander here wanting to know what the heck this place is and why it is listed under the “d.gray-man” (and other variations) interests. Besides, the rules hafta go somewhere.
Note: Please do not make the misconception that this group is made up by a bunch of Dgure snobs huddled together in their own little corner of the fandom. Many, many members here (including myself) are active in dgray_man, exorcists_order, and many others. This place is a safe haven for us when the fandom starts to fall to crazy pieces. If you prove in the other dgure communities out there (and links are provided at the bottom) that you are indeed a mature fan who can handle things like an adult, chances are you will be noticed by at least ONE of these people and thus, be invited. I know, I know, the invite rule kind of sucks and makes it seem like we only pick people who are good enough, and, technically that is true. It's the only way we can keep the fanbrats and fanpoodles from invading and spoiling OUR fun.
As a member, you can invite whomever you please to the group, given that YOU think he/she is able to handle this fandom with a sense of maturity.

Joining: Only those invited by other members are allowed to join this group. When you are invited, all you have to do is send an email to d_resurgere@yahoo.com and let me know that you are interested in joining and the name of the person (ONLY the LJ NAME is ACCEPTABLE) who invited you. Once invited, you can post or not post to your heart’s desire so long as you follow the rules.
Once a member:
You can lurk, but a first-time post is required so that we know who you are and what Dgure interests you have. It can be as short and sweet, or long and detailed as you want. Please include the following information:
Name/Nickname
Who Invited You (LJ name)
Age (or approximate such as 18+, mid-20's, etc...)
Approximate Location (specifics are not necessary)
Favorite Characters
Favorite Pairing(s)
Other Anime/Manga you love
-Same rules apply as any other self-respecting comm: all pairings, all sexualities (yaoi, yuri, het) are accepted and appreciated! Post fanart, fan fiction, media, icons, anything D.Gray-Man!
-D.Gray-Man ONLY comm! Anything that has absolutely nothing to do with D.Gray-Man will be shredded by Mugen and fed to Allen.
-All ads MUST portray to D.Gray-Man in some fashion. Otherwise will be treated as the aforementioned useless posts in the rule above.
-All fan fiction, fanart, and other long posts must go behind an LJ-cut. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-Spoilers will ALWAYS go behind an LJ-cut with a clear warning. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-All media files, doujinshi scans, NC-17 rated fics and art, and downloads are to be friends-locked. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-I like to believe that everyone in this group is an adult, but just in case, do NOT type like a retard! Spelling and grammar typed to the best of your ability, please.
Now for the big one and the reason why this group was created in the first place.
NO WANK. NONE. ZERO. ZIP. NIL. No bashing of OTPs, of art, of fics, of anything. Disagreements are one thing and no doubt we will have them here; bashing is something else entirely and will not be tolerated. If you feel like you must rant to your little heart out just because someone posted a fic that wasn’t suited to your taste, there are special places for that like fanficrants. Otherwise, keep them in your own personal journal; trust me, we all have more important things to do here than listen to your whining.
If someone says something that seriously, earnestly bothers you, then consider your wording as you reply. Words can carry a thousand meanings and while your comment might sound reasonable to you, someone else might see it differently.
Always remember: Discussions are meant to be fun. Please, for our sanity, keep them that way. If you don’t agree with something, then don’t get all snobbish about it. Just simply say, “Hey, I don’t agree because [insert reasons here]. Be prepared to back up your arguments!
Any potential wanker will be humiliated severely especially since anonymous commenting is disabled and therefore you will be known to all the world. And after we have had our sadistic fun with your whiny ass, you will be BANNED. PERMANETLY.
If you had invited the person who starts becoming a wanker, you will NOT be punished for people make their own decisions.
Bottom line:
Have fun here. Like, seriously. Have a blast! Because having fun is what fandoms are all about.
