I've been quiet since the drabble-a-thon ended.  I'm back with a challenge though.  woot.  I should be starting up the word prompts again next week as well.  I've decided to go with a more situational challenge/prompt this time around.  Maybe it will inspire you?  =D

Sixth Challenge
Name: John Connor is Home Alone
Description:  It's late at night and John Connor is home alone.  The telephone has been ringing off the hook, the caller ID displays 'unavailable' and John tires of the insistent ringing!  He answers the phone even though his mother told him to never answer the phone while home by himself.  Who's on the other end?  Are they friend or foe?  Create a story that includes this scene.  Be as silly or as serious as you like.

So far, I've been getting 'yes' to the drabble-a-thon idea.  Again, if you have any suggestions for potential crossover series, please comment to this post or the post below.  I hope to have all the prompts ready by next week sometime.  It's gonna take some time for me to compile up a good list of prompts. 

So, I've been coming across this event known as a drabble-a-thon, or drabble-thon, or however you wanna say it in various fandoms throughout many LJ communities.  You post a ton of prompts and reply by writing a drabble in a comment to said post.  I thought I would try that here, in hopes I could jumpstart this little community.  I've seen the members grow slowly, yet steadily, but little to no participation.  I don't know if that's because the word prompts I pick totally suck eggs or if I haven't gotten around to enough communities and said 'Hey, check out my little comm!" 

Could be that word prompts and/or challenges are totally unnecessary for a tv series that is so new.  *shrugs*  Either way, I'd like to know if a drabble-a-thon is something people would like to see here. 

So far, I've decided on a 15 day writing period.  I'll be trying to include every character I can think of and the prompts will be related to the series.  I want to include crossovers and such as well, so if you have suggestions for series in which Terminator: TSCC could seamlessly crossover into (or maybe not so seamlessly), you can comment about that as well.  (I've got Heroes, Doctor Who, BtVS, Firefly, The Pretender and Supernatural thus far.  any others?) 

It's okay if you pick the third option.  I won't be offended.  I'll still post the prompts though, just to annoy ya.  (bad joke?)
