Finished One skirt. ! My vest / bodice still needs to have the button loops made and my other skirt needs to be hemmed . Maybe tomorrow i'll take pics . I think I may wait till ryan comes home. then he can take pics of the complete outfit.

So I made this tiered ruffle skirt. The pattern calls for 1/2 inch wide elastic but the fabric I used is a bit heavy should I just use the 1 inch elastic i have ? The half inch seems a bit to flimsy .

Feeling better today. Still got a bellyache and not much appetite, but I was able to function today and have finally run out of poo. It had to happen sooner or later.

Vi's back on tip-top form, she ate two proper dinners today and has taken to messing my hair up deliberately.

Oh, and she said 'table' for the first time today. It's a few new words a week at the moment!

But I finally got the TIMELINE finished for haunted_roads, as well as the Taken Characters list. I'm still steadily working on my RP to-do list, but this headache took me out for most of the day, and well into this evening. Where's the Aleve when I need it? Oh yeah, can't find it. Whatever.

Anyway, I'm going to try to attempt some sleep yet again. We'll see if it works out this time.

So if anyone in the Cincinnati area is interested in checking it out, there's a possibility my kid will be on television this evening, on Channel 9. Seems Baden's first-grade teacher was the person who organized the visit from Extreme Makeover Home Edition that helped out the family in West Chester this past summer. The local news team came by her classroom to film her in action for a little special that will be airing before the episode on ABC tonight. I'll be watching, obviously. :) I'll also be watching the episode, even though I don't normally watch that show, because I got stuck in the traffic associated with the filming. I wanna know what the hoopla was all about. (I mean, I DO know. But I want to see the finished result.)

Remember when I said that Vi is much better at braving sickness than I am...? Well get me, today I have been having chance to prove that!

I realised when I woke up at about 5am feeling horribly nauseous that I probably had what Vi's got. I stopped puking at about half 10. Got up briefly, showered, braved the sofa and The SImpsons for half an hour or so, went back to bed til after 3.

Can now sip Vimto and munch a few dry CHeerios without being horribly sick (don't get me started about what's going on at the other end!) Feel nauseous still, stomach ache, lower backache, headache because I'm dehydrated, incredibly dizzy. The room won't stop spinning, my arms and legs are like jelly. I'm about to go into the kitchen, which will officially be the furthest I've walked all day.

The bathroom's a complete state and I desperately need to do some laundry.

Thank God this has happened today, when Hubs has been on hand to singlehandledly take care of Vi (who is still not herself0 and care for me too.

I honestly can't remember the last time I've felt so ill.

It turned out really nice after all. :) Now I'm just nervous about monday.

Oooh, a track at the end of the episode of Mad Men we watched tonight has driven me to root out one of my old Cardigans CDs. Mmmm. Euro Lounge Pop. 90s. Nice.

It was mentioned to me that 'Merde, He Wrote' felt a bit unfinished... Hell, I love that story so much I jumped at the chance to write a postscript.

So she slept reasonably well last night - woke up just before midnight with a dirty nappy and was able to keep down a few sips of water then, although it took her a while to nod off again.

Is now managing to keep down water and juice, and has managed a small amount of toast and dry Cheerios. She is keeping a stiff upper lip in a terribly British fashion - I'm always ever so proud of how well behaved she is when she's poorly and miserable. Certainly doesn't take after her moany mum in that respect!

It's Friday night... it's time for copious amounts of vomit!!!

Vi was really, really sick at half five (*just* as I started putting dinner on!) and hasn't really stopped yet. We haven't been able to keep anything down her, not even water. I *think* she's run out of stuff to be sick with now, and has fallen asleep. Fully expecting more vomming or a very awake, very hungry/thirsty babe at any point of the evening or night now.

Hope she's OK, bless her. I've never known her to be this sick before :(
