More Rollercoaster

Yay! I've got more of Rollercoaster done! First chapter of a two-parter set around Measure of a Man is here, or it'll be up on FF.net shortly. Part 2 of this chapter, and further chapters going through S3, will be up very soon.

This chapter has Snogging and Special Klingon Hell :)

Woo! Thanks for your encouragement, guys - I've decided that I'll write the rest of the tale around 'Destruction'. I think that that very low point makes a good opener, and then I'm going to go back and tell the rest of the tale chronologically. I've started posting it on ff.net here http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4267838/1/It_Never_Happened - and I've done one more very short chapter, which has no D/T, but explains how Tasha could have possibly escaped death, and has a very poorly Deanna talking nonsense through a fever, which is quite fun.

I'm probably just going to pick at this every now and again, but I'll let you guys know when I update.

You asks for D/T fic, you gets D/T fic.

Although, as I warned, it's far from warm and fuzzy. The story's actually part of a much, much bigger series of events which I imagined happening throughout the series and films, had Tasha not died - I may write the rest, or at least some of the rest, at some point, but I think this scene gives an idea of what has passed between them in the meantime. For some reason, I felt compelled to write them at their lowest point... I do have a tendency to torment my favourite characters! still, at least this is as bad as it gets, I swear that they have had happier times before this and will have happier times after, as well.

This is set shortly after First Contact (in which, apart from Tasha's presence helping to fight the Borg and being ordered to abandon ship along with Worf, and Data having a considerably shorter time period to quote to Borgybitch, everything happened as it did in the film)

Just on my elljay at the moment, I'll probably upload it to ff.net in a few days.

Hello! Just joined... just getting back into TNG through a re-watch of the DVDs. Have yet to get up to Skin Of Evil, though... *wibble*

Thought you might enjoy a fic of mine called 'Nothing But Blue Sky'. There is a large D/T element to it (although in saying that, I'm kind of giving away the twist about the true identity of 'Mary'... mind you, I thought it was quite obvious who she is when I was writing the story) as well as a lot of D/G friendship.

Now I've thought up a little scene to go with the pic. I'm not that great a writer but whatever. It's just a little scene. ;-) Here it goes.

Riker was on his way to the bridge when he ran into Tasha. When he saw her he gave her a big hug.

"Commander?! What the hell are you doing?!" Tasha said, a little confused.

"Sorry, Tasha. I'm just happy to see you!"

"What? Why?"

"I had this horrible nightmare! There was this huge talking mud puddle and I got sucked into it and it killed you!"

"Oh come on. As if I could get killed by a mud puddle. That's ridiculous!" Tasha laughed.

"I know. Now that I think about it, it does sound silly. Whew. But it was pretty scary." Riker said.

"Oh yeah, I know all about scary nightmares." Tasha shivered "But it's all over now."

"Yeah, thank the Gods!!" Riker said as they stepped off the turbolift and arrived at the bridge.

OK so it's not a scene with Data but I thought it'd be cute if Riker had the dream. *giggles*.

Has everyone read Wil Wheaton's reaview of Datalore? If you don't know, he has been reviewing the 1st season TNG episodes in quite a humorous way :) Check out his posts on TV Squad. He gets a few Data and Tasha jokes in there too. Think he's a closet fan? :)

I just watched the episode "In Theory"(it was the next episode on the dvd) in which our dear Data got unceremoniously dumped by that skank Jenna D'Sora. All because he supposedly doesn't have feelings. She hardly even gave him a chance!! Poor Data. Her loss I guess!! There are still some fun things in this episode. Like when Jenna says "The cat's out of the bag" and Data looks around and says "Spot?" , "Honey! I'm home!!" and their 'lover's quarrel.' And Data asking everyone's advice! lol But Stupid stupid Jenna, how I hate thee...

Okaaaay...it's 1st season TNG. Let's just say Tasha, Beverly, and Deanna are having a slumber party. The problem is, Riker is determined to crash the party. Even though Picard has told him not to. He just can't help himself. So Tasha has assigned Data the task of distracting Riker from doing so. So far Data has an hour of holodeck time. But what will he do with Riker for the rest of the night? Nothing x-rated, people, get your minds out of the gutter!(if it was there in the first place) ;-)

I am continuing my quest to watch TNG from start to finish. It would help if I actually had all the DVDs but as of now I only have seasons 1-4...I will get them all soon enough I suppose. The other day I watched Yesterday's Enterprise. Now, that Castillo guy was cute and all, but...I wish we could have got more Data and Tasha scenes. Of course we got the scene in the turbolift but somehow it wasn't enough. The next episode was 'The Offspring' ...so sad when Lal 'died'. *sniff* Can you believe it's been 20 years since this show began?? Gak!!!!!

Hey everyone. I've been a Data and Tasha fan for a long time. I've finally got myself on livejournal. Anyways, I have some ideas for a fanfic, or it's more like missing scenes. Something that's always bugged me. In the episode "Coming of Age" the Commander (Remmick???) interviews everyone on the ship except for Tasha! Now if you're trying to find something wrong going on the ship you'd think the guy would be talking to the freaking Security Chief. Right??? I thought so. And in the episode Hide and Q just what wish would Riker give Tasha? When he had the Q powers and he was granting everyone their greatest wish. I wouldn't know how to go about writing this stuff but maybe someone else could??? Pretty please????

Okay... I was bored in class, so I did a little drawing of Tasha... and well... I think it's not that bad.. You kinda can see who it's suppose to be.

The Quality is bad, because I don't own a scanner here, so I had to take a picture, but I tried my best. v_v

I am a HUGE Star Trek: The Next Generation Fan, I watch it, Loved Tasha Yar the best so I am very happy to see a community dedicated to her and Data, I also love Denise Crosby and followed her work after she left Star Trek.

I write Star Trek stories, with the hopes that like some fans, someday I can get my work onto dvd or on a film reel, Not for money of course but for fun and because we are passionate about acting and Star Trek, I have a rewritten version of The Next Generation already to go (10 seasons worth, 25 episodes each season which includes more than a brief fling for Tasha and Data and 2 Gay characters) and an original series that takes place several years after Next Gen.

I love the fan fiction I have read on the net of Tasha and Data but cant help but wonder what would have happened had Tasha had a chance to be with Will Riker-But thats just me!

What else?

About me, I am a Single Gay male, 32, Live in Las Vegas Nv, Hate it here, want to either move back home to Oregon or somewhere cooler in the future but I write Tv series and plays that are adapted into stage productions (and like I said someday my own company where we can put everything on film/dvd) so I am bound by a contract and cant leave Vegas!

Just found this community!! God, I'm really happy that there is such a community, for I'm aTasha/Data fan since.. ever :P
Well.. both are my fav characters, which is why I was really sad when Tasha died (but well.. I'm good at ignoring things, so I kept ignoring that.. :P)
I always thought about writing a Data/Tasha ff, maybe this communtiy finally will get me to do so ^^

Well... let me tell a little more 'bout me:
I'm German, 22-year-old, and I'm living in Bonn... well, not for long anymore, for I will be moving to Beijing/China for a year.
Besides Star Trek TNG (for I actually only love this Star Trek series) I'm totally in love with Asian music.

Okay he's not that good, but Tasha (TashArmus...whatever you want to think of her as) looks rather lovely, IMO... she needed some work, but.

The character of TashArmus is not mine, in fact, technically, it's not a character, but whatever the case, the character TashArmus was created by KyRoka for her Star Trek: TNG fanfiction "Solitaire". It's sort of a combination of Tasha Yar and the Armus that killed her. Sort of, anyway. I won't ruin the story by telling you.
