AboutAre you an angel in white? A dedicated healer sworn to minister tenderly to those in need? Do you eat, drink, sleep, and breathe nursing?
If so, this is not your community.
If, on the other hand, you are a regular guy or gal who puts those uniform pants on one leg at a time and realize this is just a freakin' JOB, for crying out loud, and you're muddling through your eight (or twelve...or sixteen) hours as best you can, trying to put food on the table and keep a roof over your head...
And if you look around you and see yourself surrounded by stupidity... much of it caused by society's view of us as altruistic servants with no needs or feelings of our own, and by its view of doctors as gods and by hospital administrators who think refinishing several inpatent floors at a time with fugly wallpaper is more important than having realistic patient/staff ratios (yes, PATIENT, dammit! None of that "client" bullshit here!)...

Whereas this is primarily a nursing community, we also have others in the healthcare field participate here. If you can't hang with a multidisciplinary crowd, we suggest you go elsewhere.
