Me again. I just thought I would post links to two of my stories. It’s an effort to encourage others to do some creative dabbling as well. The first one was co-authored with my husband. It’s a rehash of when 001, 002, 003, and 004 were taken by the Black Ghost, told from Ivan’s pov. Not cannon. The second is a simple Jet Link story where he deals with the dark side of his gang past. Please feel free to check out the rest of my things on fanfiction.net., but be forewarned that the rest of my fan fictions are Jet/Albert centric. I know the common complaint about sub-par fan fiction on that sight, but I know of no other good Cyborg 009 archives outside of Japan. There are a lot of blogs to explore, but it takes some ‘research.’ Well... all for now. Any one have a good lists of favorite Cyborg 009 websites or blogs?

I was just searching for a cyborg 009 community or forum...when I found this wonderful place! I'm a huggge fan of cyborg 009, I first got into it when I was 8 (it was on tv back then) and i had forgotten about it until about a month ago.
oh and, i'm a HUUUUGE fan of joe and kubikuro~

Hey everyone, I thought I'd just give everyone a heads up on some cyborg news!
I don't know if many of you visit www.ishimoripro.com (which is the official website for the creator of Cyborg and his other works) But I usually hit it up every once in a while to see if they have any new nice desktop wall papers. (here & here for the wall papers, they're mostly of his illustrations and not of the anime). Well I was very surprised to see this!

Apparently the year 2009 is the 45th anniversery of Cyborg! Along with the obvious 009 - 2009 correlaton. To celebrate there is a very spiffy website to play with! I highly recommend pokeing around. There are banners you can download with times that countdown to (I assume) the day Cyborg 009 was first published. Also, there is some merchandise worth drooling over. I want this mug so bad.

Yesterday I had a bunch of SUPER vivid dreams, and one of them was that I found a channel running the full series of English Cyborg 009 ;___; Quite frankly I'm lucky I didn't START CRYING when I woke up. :D
Sooo hey it's been a while since I last asked... does anyone here have tapes of the Toonami version yet? I PAY ANY PRICE.
It's really a shame that with the release of 009-1, there hasn't been renewed interest in Cyborg 009. I guess no one likes that anime either, hahahah.

Ahoy-hoy!
Call me xiridian or xiri for short. :]
I finished re-watching Cyborg009 for the second time yesterday and it reignited my appreciation for the fandom. I love how "classic" it looks, and the backstories are quite intricate. It does peeve me that 003 is presented as a blonde ballerina who danced with her hair down, but.. well... apparently Uluru was a giant hideout, so something's gotta give, lol.
I'm thinking of starting up some fanfiction about it on FF.net and wanted to gauge interest. :] I had a look at the fiction com. here on LJ and it seemed pretty dead, so if anyone's so kind as to point me towards one that's slightly more active, I'd be greatly obliged.

well, I got the costume from lookpal (looks very nice, btw!), but as she put, it doesn't come with boots.
anyone know where to find boots would match with a C009 costume? do they actually sell boots that go to your knees? XD I'd figure that'd be kind of uncomfortable...
also, how do you tie the scarf so that only one (obnoxiously large) end comes out of the knot?

Hey guys, it's your friendly neighborhood Rae here to tell you about ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) flamingoheights, a multi-fandom crack RP community. I play Jet, but none of his cyborg friends are around, so you can imagine how bored he must get. But like I said, it's multi-fandom, so other characters are more than welcome, too. Mylene/009-1 would be awesome, I hear Jet has a poster of her in his room. ;D
Flamingo Heights is a beautiful city in Florida that attracts all kinds of unexpected events. Strange things are always happening to the equally-strange inhabitants. The seasoned citizen of Flamingo Heights is used to the odd happenings, but they know nothing can be predicted. One thing is for sure: Anything can happen, and it always does.
