ACK is the greatest fuckin band i have and will ever listen to.
i had twwut, dear friends, and cut an x for the longest time on my old comp all my files crashed long ago. got a new comp a few months ago.. after a while i remembered tons of bands i had before so i went download crazy. and just a week ago i found out one of my friends had the whole upon our last night ep and i threatened his ass to send me it. so i have that, dear friends and gasoline sunsets. and i couldnt have been happier.

if ack was still together right now you and i both now how big they would have been.
and it wouldve been well fuckin deserved.

hey, my name is sean and im from tampa bay florida. i was searching through purevolume a little over a year ago and came across ACK.. OMG. being in a band myself, i really wanted to cry when i found out they broke up. the music is so incredible. if i had the time and money i would totally fly out to see them play this reunion show, OMG. i would die to go see it. anyway, if any one from this band are in a new band, i would love to know the name, and hope its just as good. if anyone knows any of the members of this band, could someone give them my IM so i can talk to them because i have a few questions. my IM is: dearfriends xx (and yes its from the cutthroat kiss song, lol)

Does anybody know the lyrics to Dear Friends or know how I can get them? They aren't anywhere and aside from really obvious ones, the lyrics are half impossible to understand, with or without my headphones, no matter how many times I listen to it. It is really starting to bug me.

I'm sure you've heard this a million times before, but I was wondering if anyone had any ACK songs they'd like to send me. By the time I decided to go ahead and get the album, the site was shut down. I really would like to have the rest of the stuff that they recorded, and if anyone could send it to me, I'd be very grateful. I'm gonna try and keep this post short and simple but for all you kids who were wondering about the status of ACK I can say this much, after talking to AJ they are no more. Phil has gone off in his own direction, Profeta joined Hellogoodbye as we all know and as much as AJ wanted to keep it going it just was impossible when half of the group's hearts weren't in it anymore. I guess we should just appreciate the short life they had and continue to support the guys in whatever they do.

Please don't stop posting in this community for it's not going anywhere
