I try not to do this too often, but I feel like I have to say a few things re: politics:
So I just watched Barack Obama's nomination acceptance speech from last night. He's such an amazing speaker and his message is so inspiring. It totally made me cry.
Being perfectly honest, times are really hard and this man offers hope. I mean, even if it turns out that things don't change much (though I highly doubt it), I'd rather take a chance on something new than to sit around and suffer through four more years of the same disappointments.
I need decent medical care and I need to know that if something happened to me, Kimmy would have the right to come stay with me in the hospital and vice versa. Plus so. many. other. things.
I believe that Obama can give us the equality we deserve and can fix our country because its obvious that the people *here* are suffering and I believe that he fully realizes it and has solid plans in place to make it better.
If you're interested, I highly rec. watching his speech. ^_^

+ Spending yesterday evening with Amber. I've missed her so much!
+ Good post this morning: Jean Paul Gautier perfume from a trade I did on ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) thriftstoreuk, a newsletter about freshers week/fortnight from uni, and my first lovefilm.com film (Sherrybaby).
+ The new American frat house themed uni bar is opening - on the media campus! Hoorah! No more having to trail into town for a pint when I've got a 3 hour gap.
+ Going out for a curry with the family tonight.

so we know michelle woke me up today LAUGHING at 4:30am....yes LAUGHING...cackle cackle cackle....she went to the bar last night late so i figured she was a happy drunk skunk....
a little before 11am this morning i heard the ambulance sirens (common around here) but they stopped close by---they always off the sirens before they come down the side streets/dead ends....i go look out a window and lo and behold they stop at michelle's! i figured that she had to call the ambulance cuz she didn't send her kdis to school today (yeah, they're racking up a lot of missed days of school and it's only the 2nd week)....
but no, i see the youngest ones out on the porch, so that was good they were not forced to fake an illness or have her do something to them to warrant an ambulance call....
after a short bit the city ambulance moves and a private ambulance comes down the street....here in akron city ambulances will only take patients that are in a life or death situation.....so i see them haul out michelle on a stretcher (yes they struggled with her weight)....laying fat flat, not hooked up to oxygen or anything....i will say her face looked puffy....
off the ambulance went....i haven't seen her back yet....did she eat peanuts?? cuz i mean since her gall bladder was removed she's allergic to them, but her husband ex drove her to the hospital before...or is one of her CANCERS flaring up?? there's the breast cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer and liver cancer...they all could have joined forces and become a super duper anti-michelle cancer!!! oh noes!
i don't know what her fake illness was today, but a friend gave me a good idea....ready??? Michelle has M.I. M.I. = major issues! brilliant!!!
i hope her insurance company investigates all this fraud...tax payers are paying some of this too...
and if it WAS really and truly and really and truly really truly a REAL illness?? well i say GOOD...bout time she had some real suffering....no, that's not nice to say about people, but if you've had to live with her as a neighbor for 3 years, had to have your house painted, fence put up, special contact paper up on the windows so she won't look in and i will never EVER forget or forgive that she stopped me from getting Molly and then laughed that Molly was dead.....well after all that and MORE you'd be more than eager to see a little karma sent her way....
yes i know i haven't written about her in a while and it's not like she's STOPPED any of her shit...so i'll just write about her again...also, if i don't write about her, it just all bottles up in me and that is not good....this is my LJ and it is therapeutic and catharic for me to write about my fucked up insane neighbor michelle!
hopefully she won't come home from the hospital at 4:30am and laugh...
she needs to experience REAL pain and suffering....too bad the ambulance wasn't yellow....but if she was really sick, then that's just a dose of the karma she has coming to her... |

you know i've mentioned those fake homeless peoples up on the rte. 8 south/tallmadge ave. exit...there's been mention in the newspaper that apparently someone HIRES them to collect money for them! yesterday a columnist at the beacon journal wrote how the mayor's spokesperson gave a panhandler $5 [ !!! ] and when he handed him the $5 the panhandler told him that the economy was getting bad because he used to be able to make $180 a DAY but now it's only $80!!!! WHAT THE FUCK???
so i emailed the mayor's spokesperson the following and he just forwardededed it to someone in the law department....yes, as reference akron has a panhandling 'permit' but it's only for the downtown area....

I live by Rte. 8 and Tallmadge Avenue. There is a guy there sitting on the
guardrail ALMOST DAILY! They approach car windows of women, elderly and very
young kids. How is it legal to sit on a guardrail? how is it legal to walk
up to cars begging for change? It is very disruptive to the cars stuck at
the light and it is rather frightening.
The guy at the Rte. 8/Tallmadge Avenue is not homeless. He lives in an
apartment in a house on Dayton St. I would say 95% of these men are NOT
homeless. They are all over the city, disrupting traffic, sitting in
dangerous for them and others places and the city is apparently letting them
get away with it.
Who's going to be at fault if one of these faux homeless beggars goes up to
a car window of a woman who has pepper spray and she sprays him? And say he
falls off the guardrail down the slope onto Rt. 8? Or what if he
distracts/scares a driver that they don't watch where they are going when
the light changes? There are countless possibilities.
Does Akron want to be known for supporting and condoning these faux homeless
men? It appears that way! There are temp services that pay cash the same
day, but when i mentioned that to one, he said "God bless" and moved on to
the next car!

didn't take any pix/video at the dog park the other day due to the insanity that transpired...FUCKTARD....
read that there was the largest immigrant raid yet in the country! hooray!! but of course there was some idiot from the town saying "these people aren't criminals", yes this was an american who said that....uh HELLO???? they ARE criminals! they are here ILLEGALLY!!! ship 'em ALL back....all these american companies are sending their jobs to mexico, so they have jobs down there....
then of course there's a hurricane that might hit new orleans and people are afraid it might flood again if the storm hits....another uh HELLO??? you are living for the most part BELOW SEA LEVEL! what do you expect???
where i'm from in iowa is right on the mississippi river....the city had a dike---yes have a beavis/butthead moment...actually, have another---in the city basically the only thing to do was 'cruise the dike'! anyway...the dike didn't go the whole length of the city and up in the north end of town there was some people who had houses within 20 feet of the mississippi river...actually, people on the other side of the river in illinois had houses on river level too....SOME people on the illinois side were smart and had their houses on stilts...but most did not....
so what happened??? the river floods and the house floods out...what do people do? they fucking rebuild RIGHT WHERE THEY HAD BEEN!!! now, if they rebuilt with stilts, okay fine...but most didn't....the last time i was in iowa was during the last big floods i believe in 93/94? i had never seen the river so high....it went to right below one of the bridges over the river and usually it was like 30 feet LOWER than that....
what else in the news....oh the dem convention....another collection of idiots....the cult of obama is having a meeting...he's not a rock star---not even rock stars get this kind of adoration....it's quite frightening...and what the fuck is he doing have a 'greek temple' motif as a stage?? oh wait...he's just arrogant and smug....the temples are in ruins now because despite their intelligence the greeks were overcome....not really thinking things through there bedrock....

labor day weekend approaching....last year michelle had an imaginary party...i'm sure she might have a real one this year....cuz despite the economy she's just doing fine and dandy....parties, cornhole hell game---played in the street blocking my driveway---cuz god forbid she played it in her long driveway or in her backyard!!!, some stupid garden canopy---which she doesn't use but oh lookey what she bought, in addition to all their playstations and gameboys she has a wii, all the widescreen tvs...oh yeah....life is good for the psychopath....she's faking an ankle injury now too...unless her broken heel/foot that she faked all summer traveled up her ankle?? and she's still going to her imaginary nursing school too!!
fuck you whore...oh yeah, she goes out at least twice a week to bars....if she gets busted for a DUI (you can only roll those dice so long before you roll snake eyes) that mug shot will be my xmas card!
she had a party a few weeks ago and she had cars on BOTH sides of the street....this street is only 15 feet wide! future party parking on the wrong side of the street WILL result in a call to the police by me....fed up.....i park in front of my house legally and she call the cops and claims it's an 'unknown car' and she's 'scared'....
and despite school recently starting, she's already had her younger kids miss school already...cuz you know they're sick! they were so sick they couldn't go to school but they could ride around the neighborhood on scooters!!! isn't that sick???

Like a good Democrat, I've been watching the convention this week. I am a bit disappointed that the Kucinich and Ed Rendell speeches were so early our time and I missed them. Oh well.
At least Hillary is playing ball finally.
I really, really like Michelle Obama's speech and the idea of her being our first lady is very appealing to me.
One thing that seemed to stand out for me though was in the video introducing Michelle to the convention. They went on and on about how Barack and her met at the Office and how she didn't want to date and ruin their friendship as well as she was his supervisor. Well, he just kept at it and was persistent in his affections and finally they had an office romance in bloom. Eventually, she left the firm and went to do some community work and decided not to work in a big law firm anymore.
It just kept going on and on...and I turned to Severin and said, "Wow, We'll have our own Jim and Pam in the White House." Yes, I crack myself up.
Of course, I can't find their lil Michelle infomercial when I want to...
