NEW YEAR, NEW CHANGE


Along with the coming of the new year, will also come change here at cutegayboys. The community has yet again fallen into a depressing state of disuse and mass confusion. The members list is completely wrong, people have been joining and posting without ever having been voted on, and general interest has been lost as well. Starting at the beginning of the year [info]bananarepublica, and I will be completely redoing the entire community. As you can see, the layout has already gone through a few changes, and may yet still change further.

As for the problem of fake members, It would be a complete nightmare and headache to make everyone supply their original acceptance post. I can't even find mine and I wouldn't expect some people who have been here years to have to go back and hunt for it, therefore, I believe a fresh start is the best way.

THE CURE


Come January 1st, 2005, all names on the members list will be wiped out and the community will be closed for one week. Those wishing to continue being a member must reapply and be voted when the community reopens. I don't see this as a big problem as how many of you would have no problem getting back in. This will also weed out the people who didn't really belong here in the first place, as many of you have complained to me about in the past. More details about reapplying below.

REDEVELOPMENT


I will personally choose a panel of 15 members, besides voixvirtuose and myself, who I can, beyond the shadow of a doubt, remember being voted members here. Please do not contact me about this trying to gain a spot, I will post my list on January 1st. This group of 15 legacy members will vote in the rest of the people wishing to join, thus re-birthing CUTEGAYBOYS.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE LEGACY GROUP:
IF YOU ARE CHOSEN AS A LEGACY MEMBER YOU HAVE ONE WEEK(JAN. 7th) TO ACCEPT THE INVITATION TO BE A LEGACY MEMBER OR YOUR SPOT WILL BE OFFERED TO SOMEBODY ELSE. More details TBA with the list on Jan. 1st.

I know a lot of you here, but I am only choosing 15 people. I am very sorry if you do not get picked, it's not a personal thing, I don't dislike you, nor do I think you are ugly, I simply only have 15 spots.

6. After you have been accepted, please provide links to two pictures of
yourself for the members photo archive, or just do nothing and two photo from
your application will be taken and placed in the members photo archive.

CGB is one of the few gay male rating communities that does allow our female supporters to join and rate applicants. To apply for a Fruit Fly membership to CuteGayBoys please follow these rules:
