Posting help needed...

1. I can not add my own name: simplycutebecka to the tags area?

2. Kelly do you have a posting format to use to post are icons with?

3. Kelly do I make the entries private? How private?????

4. Can we post various icons in one post or do you wish all characters be broken out by each character in each post?

5. I also can not add more then two tags to each post?? Is this correct? Am I doing something wrong here?

Thank you in advance for your help. I can go back and change my entries is you wish once I know the answers to the above questions. It was kind of hard to search through all the entries here to find out these answers if any. Thanks.

Having problems crediting us?

Unfortunately, it has been brought to my attention that a lot of people who use our icons are not crediting us. This makes us very sad because one of the main points of crediting the icon maker AND the community is to ADVERTISE FOR US without being obtrusive. What I mean by that is when someone sees a really cute icon that you have, naturally they'll go to your icon page and look at the rest of them. When they see where you've gotten your icons from, they'll follow the natural linky-flow to our community here at cutecute_icons.

It's a way for us to get our community noticed and to get more members.

We don't want to have closed membership or to have this community be friends-only, but if this trend of not crediting continues, that may be our only option.

Understandably, some of you just might be new to the LJ scene and aren't familiar with LJ-tags. That's ok, too. Just so long as you take what I'm about to show you and quickly administer it to the icons in which you have of ours.

The code is the same for both users and communities. It's not too hard, guys. Please do this for us. We'll appreciate it very much.

I didn't want to get down and dirty, but if we find you not crediting us, we WILL ban you. We will probably warn you first, but if nothing is done about it, it might be our only option. Please, please, please don't make this happen, because we love making icons for you. We only ask this in turn... credit us.

i just wanted to tell everyone that cutecute_icons has recently crept over the 100 member status! it's wonderful news to me and i didn't think that my community would do anything except flop underneath me when i made it... and i certainly thought i'd be the only one posting. but i was wrong! i hope the community keeps growing and we keep getting awesome icon makers like we have now.

if you want to display your icons here, i'd love to have you! i just have a few conditions:

1) the icons you submit must be cute. and i don't mean cute boys or cute celebrities or anything like that. i mean kawaii. there aren't any general themes, but people who come here would like to see certain characters bunched together.

2) i need to see at least 10 examples of some icons. post them as a comment below.

3) i am not picky about whether you have your own community or whether you post your icons in other communities. just so long as you help promote us when you can!

4) this is mainly an icon community, but by no means should you feel restricted to ONLY making icons. want to make a layout? please do! want to make headers or share some backgrounds? go ahead! just so long as they correspond with the theme of the community, obviously.
