R.I.P Koneko-chan...
Not really a customer suck... it's actually more of a HUMANITY sucks.
We found a a cardboard box stuffed into one of our toilets in the bathroom for customers; we found that also in the box were 5 kittens. Some sick fuck decided to waltz into our nice and cheery store and went and used our washroom facilities to DROWN ADORABLE NEWBORN KITTENS.
It was in the ladies washroom, and one of the Twin Cashiers was cleaning the stalls when she found them. She burst through the washroom in tears and looked like she was gonna gag. We had to call the police and animal services. Not even the Janitor wanted to go near that stall; it's not because it was too gross, it's because apparently we're all suckers for kitties. I mean who isn't? So yea, the Worrkplace was considerably dreary after that, and we closed off the bathroom for the day. I think we are permanently going to close off that stall; a lot of us put a flower there (yes, next to the toilet) or other stuff, cause it may seem silly, but we were all very saddened and lost a tad bit of hope for humanity after that.
The Bitchy Manager said they 'were just cats' and that they were going to be killed anyways; she just wished the person could have done it somewhere else, instead of messing up 'her' store. i am not a fool, I know sometimes cute kittens have to be put down, but a sense of compassion and HUMANITY is what fucking sets us apart from animals. Drowning those poor cats in a bowl where people shit and piss!? Just, why? Humanely putting them down is easy to do, its the HUMANE thing to do. Whoever did that, you don't deserve to be called human. I'm sure the poor Mama Cat is the more humane one you disgusting freak.
The animal services found Mama Cat in the alley behind our store; this means someone SNATCHED those baby kitties AWAY from their mother, and murdered them. There was no reason to, they had their mother and noboby even owned them. I've given scraps to the Mama Cat before, and the Fellow Stocker (a vet-wannabe-soon-to-be-in-training) even noted she was pregnant.
A little part of me died when I saw the poor mommy kitty looking and prodding through the box where her kittens were; she was mewling for them, and a lot of us actually cried; she was so desperately looking for her babies, and it was the SADDEST thing I have ever seen in my life, and I think I will always remember that. Just how sick can one person be?
Whoever did this, I hope Mama Cat disembowels you in mother-mayhem feral rage, and thats hoping you don't ever run into me or the other employee's who happened to be looking forward to seeing a cute litter of kitties. I have nothing but sheer, unbridled hate for you. I wish you would drop down and DIE; I really do. Then I want your corpse to be used as food for starving cats; but then again, they'd know not to touch your disgusting filthy hide. You are the most foul creature, the worst of the worst. If you are a woman, you should not be allowed to reproduce; someone who snatches up newborn animals from their mothers and decides to drown them before they even have their eyes opened shouldn't even be allowed near kids. If you are a man, likewise stay the FUCK away from babies and children you horrible excuse for a human being. I don't know what made you do that; seeing bundles of fur drifting lifeless in toilet water will haunt me for the rest of my life. I hate you. Everyone at the Workplace hates you.
And it may not matter, but anyone who reads this will hate you. I hope the force of karma will combine with all of the hate you will have accumulated for yourself. and that when you visit the zoo, you fall into the lion cage. Let the BIG kitties who CAN defend themselves take care of you. Heh. I bet the world will actually shine a bit brighter when those lions finish licking their chops.
