AboutHunter Hunter Hunter... know it, love it, hate it, attend, wish you did, bored between classes, pull up a computer and share your thoughts with the fellow students you normally take pains to ignore.
This is a place for things like "What's up with the traffic in the halls lately?" and "Will sell soul for Chemistry textbook." And let's not forget "I'm sitting here with bloody wrists trying to get over the fact that yet again I have been fucked by registration." Also for updates anybody has about anything Hunter-related.
Or like whatever. It's your school -- and this is your Hunter LJ community.
This goes without saying, but intolerance of any form will not be tolerated and intolerators will be banned until such time as they have completed a state-sponsered rehabilitation program and proven themselves to be upstanding and active citizens.

If you have something to say about politics it may very well be important that your peers have a chance to see and critique it. HOWEVER, you MUST label your post as "political opinion" or something similar AND PUT IT BEHIND AN LJ CUT!
That way you get to say what you want and other members of this community can look at it if they like but aren't forced to.

(Undergraduate Student Government)- www.hunterusg.com - If nothing else, the new undergrad administration has put together a FANTASTIC website which is currently being filled with important information. Plus, they've got free coffee and tea in their office! I love these people! (Seriously, though; the site promises to be a comprehensive and complete guide to Hunter for undergrads by undergrads [fubu]).
University Post - www.universitypost.com - a free resource serving several colleges started by a former Hunter student. Contains professor reviews, a textbook, employment, and stuff marketplace, a message board and a zine now accepting Hunter student contributions!
Rate My Professor - www.ratemyprofessor.com - I only wish I had known about this site all along. A much-used resource by students from every university; Rate My Professor allows general ratings, specific comments, and you can even vote on whether your professor gave you a hard-on! What more could you ask for?
