I am really feeling lazy about showering but it's totally disgusting if I don't. It's totally disgusting that I'm still wearing these pants.

Actually I should attempt a quick shower (HAH) and then come back to the computer instead of checking LJ now... lots of LJ to check and lots of.. me wanting to air out/dry off in my room before I crawl into bed. Here I go!

dogscanlookupRachel and I are going bowling Wednesday and out to karaoke on Friday. I'm so excited! We've only had 2 dates and I'm already gushing like a school girl. Feel free to gag at any time. :^3

This whole dating thing is kind of new to me. I've "gone out" with people, I've moved right in with people, hell, I've even had a few one night stands in my distant past...but I've never gone out on dates with someone. I really like it. :) Dating Rachel is... well, it's like there's this continual antici..........pation. (RHPSLOL) I'm always in anticipation of our next date; What will happen the next time I see her. I don't have to try hard to be someone I'm not around her though. I don't have to work at taking things at a leisurely pace; She knows, and she's right there with me. :D

I'm gonna MAKE her go to a haunted house with me before Halloween, too...Who else am I going to cringe into and hide behind? Maybe that's just my twisted version of the "movie theater yawn-and-stretch maneuver", lol ;^)

dogscanlookupOMG...tonight was awesome...I got to see Rachel and meet her awesome friends. She got to meet some of my friends...but then we wound up kind of babysitting after James decided he was going to pound his (RIDICULOUSLY strong) AMF before we went in the club. *eyeroll* Unfortunately he and his boyfriend were my ride home.

We got free VIP bottle service at a gay club I've never been in and that was a lot of fun. To borrow a phrase from Mike Meyers...I am smitten. I am in deep smit. *giggles* It was only really our 2nd date, but Rachel makes me feel like I'm 16 again...in a good way. In a very giggly, blushy, school-girlie, be-myself-but-try-to-keep-from-acting-like-a-total-dork kind of way. It's been a looong time since I've felt that. We kissed each other on the cheek when we parted ways and it made me a little tingly. Heh. :^3

We're going out to karaoke on Friday...but I don't know if I can wait that long. *squeedance*

dogscanlookupSo the date with Rachel last night was pretty freakin' awesome. We had sushi until we basically got kicked out by a private party.
"Are you with the reunion?"
"Erm...do we look Philipina?" LOL
Anyways, after that we went to the Crown and Anchor which is a British pub here in town. I am so in love with that place! They have all the beers I loved in England on tap AND A REAL FREAKING DART BOARD!!! None of that plastic electronic shite. Plus, there was the added bonus of all the bartenders being hot chicks in plaid miniskirts ;D. Anyways, we had a great time and we hit it off right away. We talked all night and there were no awkward silences or the need to feel like I had to make myself out to be someone I wasn't. I just felt really comfortable around Rachel. We talked about school, relationships, the genius of Mitch Hedberg and Dane Cook, etc, etc.

I get to see her again tonight too :). I'm going down to the Fruit Loop with some of my friends for the National Coming Out Day festivities and I'll be meeting her there. Should be a fun night! Maybe I'll post pix tomorrow!
