| About: | -FAQ- 1. What on earth is this? This is the Cult of Meg. It is run by Meg. She is the Cult Leader, a charismatic egotist with tendencies toward megalomania. (Actually, it was created based upon the above meme because people jokingly asked if I would take them on as disciples. Seriously, I am not one to turn down free disciples.) 2. What is the point? There has to be a point? There is a point anywhere or about anything on livejournal? ...Okay... fine. The Cult of Meg seeks to promote and boost the ego of its glorious leader, Meg. The Cult of Meg is devoted to the principles that Meg is cooler than you, better looking than you, smarter than you, and otherwise generally teh awesome. Unlike most cults which hide their true motives, The Cult of Meg believes in bluntness and openess. We were founded on the principle of manipulating those with low self-esteem and questionable sanity. Also upon the idea of wearing cool cool robes, because nowhere near enough people do that anymore. Finally, we are dedicated to spreading the Word of Meg and the Good News About Meg. 3. I have low self-esteem and questionable sanity. Can I join? Of course. There will be a questionaire at some point... or some sort of form to fill out... You know, whenever Meg gets around to it. 4. How can I spread the good news about Meg? You could talk about her on your livejournal. You could make her picture your background image. You would writer her a song, or a story, or a poem. Really, the possibilities are nearly limitless. Most importantly, you can pimp the community to all of your fellow friends with low self-esteem and questionable sanity who need a purpose in life and to have their decisions made for them. 5. OMG! You are sick! I need to report you to the government... or livejournal... or something... before there is mass-suicide incident! Okay, just in case it was not abundantly clear already, absolutely none of this is serious and it was created based upon a reaction to a meme. This is essentially a parody of a cult, not an actual cult. Again, this is not a real cult. Thank you. | |
