SPOILER!!! SPOILER!!! SPOILER!!!
SPOILER!!! SPOILER!!! SPOILER!!!

If you have not read Danny volume 2 (and Danny volume 1) do not read the comments of this post. Nothing is being said on this first post to save ruining a new fantastic book for new readers. So if you haven't read the second installment of Danny DO NOT READ THE COMMENTS as you will really spoil it for yourself. Right gone on enough now, consider yourself fully warned.

For the people who have read book two I'm guessing your fit to burst so click on comments and let yourself go.

Oh my god, can we say it now?

JOHN.

I feel incredibly spoiled. If it were any other book, I might also feel incredibly cheated after being forced to live without him for 800 or more pages, but for this one, I only feel fucking gleeful.

What next?

I too have ridiculously (un)important university business, so that's why I've been so slow!

Hello, Hello, Hello.

Thank god university work is over for the minute, evil place making me write 5000 words on wanky Hitchcock when I want to be writing 10,000 on Danny 2.

Firstly could you believe the end, I don't think there are words that could express the surprise, were you shocked or did you guess before he arrived. I really didn't, in fact I didn't believe it for a long while, re-reading and re-reading pages didn't seem to help.

I agree, if it was any other book fifty pages would not have been enough, and for a few days I thought I was going to explode if I didn't get the third installment immediately, but then I remembered I wasn't expecting to have one page, so fifty is a pretty good result.

What did you think of the return do you think he's the same man he was in the first book?

And the thing I'm most worried about, what do you think is going to happen to them in the next book, in the description for the next book it says one of the main characters are going to die. Who do you think it will be? I'm terrified Chancery has brought him back to take him away again.

I think my heart actually stopped when I found out John was alive and kicking, I read it a few times as well to make sure I had understood it correctly. Fifty pages of God John was no where near enough, 50,000 wouldn't be.

I think John is the same as he was in the first book, with a few more sly smiles, there seems innuendo in all his dialogue and John and Danny seem to be saying more than they are doing with their body language and speech. Danny's mood and aurora completely changed for the last few pages, but who's wouldn't.

I don't like the comments about book 3 it really worries me as well, in fact I was on such a high when I finished Danny 2 last night I wish I would have just left it there and not read the description for book 3, surely you can't bring him back to lose him again that would be unforgiving!!! I am hoping the description of a seeing a main characters death is metaphorical and not literal and I hope neither way would be to do with John.
