Did anyone watch Eleventh Hour last night? It was interesting. Not an immediate "OMG, I have to watch this every week" but likable enough that I'll watch again. Did anyone watch the british version? I recognized the main character, and I couldn't figure out why until I looked him up this morning. He was Count Adimar in A Knight's Tale. I spent two hours making sushi rolls last night for dinner tonight. That way I only have to make the miso soup (easy) edamame (easier) and vegetable tempura tonight. Playing with the sticky rice was equal points fun and frustrating. OMG! Mother's cookies is closing. They went bankrupt. While I was never fond of circus cookies I adore the iced oatmeal ones. 10|♥

(for real!) lol. and later on im having a hous party so she can finally meet all my bestest friends. i'm getting sicker by the second lol. but im trying not to think about it. any quick fix remedies for being sick!? send em my way! 7|♥

It's been a strange few weeks [Thursday, October 9th, 2008 @ 12:29pm] swithers [ music | The Pussycat Dolls - Halo | Scrobbled by Last.fm ] Been ages since I last posted, been a really busy and slightly strange few weeks. Last week I turned 21 which was nice, didn't do any mad partying because most of my friends are away at uni, but I did manage to cram a lot into the day, I went shopping in Exeter in the morning, then had my gym induction and spent an hour and a bit working out, then I went for a quiet drink with my parents and younger brother before meeting two of my closest friends for dinner. Then on Saturday I went to London for the day, shopping again and seeing my best friend which was great. On the other hand it was my first birthday since losing my grandma which made it all feel very strange and like something was missing especially as her birthday was only 4 days before mine so we almost always did something together to celebrate, this year my aunt came down the Saturday before my birthday, which would have been grandma's 69th birthday and we went out for lunch for her birthday. Yesterday I had a pretty traumatic day at work ( I won't bore you all with the details but if you wanna know it's here ) On the plus side CM, and NCIS are now available for me to watch, and Private Practice, WAT, Bones and CSI: NY will be available shortly so I shall go and cheer myself up with a little bit of Hotch and Gibbs before I meet Sadie later and go to the gym 2|♥

Like a lot. You'd think that nothing could be more boring than standing in the middle of a hot highway 40 miles from the nearest town for 10 to 15 hours a day, but you'd be WRONG. That is downright fun most of the time, cuz you get neat people to talk to and cute boys hitting on you and you can dance around to the radio and all the equipment and truck drivers have to go past you and it's super! So yeah, I wish we still had jobs all over the district so I could be working all over again. I miss my friends in far away towns.  :( On a less boring note, I went to Reno yesterday. I had to get my teeth cleaned and I decided to go shopping. That was so much fun, since the store had just opened for the morning and I was the only one there. The dude and I had so much fun. He tried to sell me undergarments (those really pretty bustiers and stuff) so we had to discuss how my boobs WOULD NOT fit in ANYTHING they had. Once I told the guy my size, he was all, OH YEAH you wouldn't fit. BUT I got some ROCKING shirts. One has a cute lil' blue monster thing on it and it says "I heart you and also candy." LULZ. And there was this one I REALLY wanted, but it wasn't in my size, it had a little tv on it and he was saying "Stop staring at me."  And I bought Melissa her bday pressie and went to lunch with my mommy and then I went to Fernley to hang out with my friends. I found Bucky and said hi to Grace and Val and Don and met Dale and then I talked to Jamie on the phone and I found Liz and gabbed with her until Travis showed up and we had a drink and kissed some more  :D   and then I headed back to town and got my hair dyed blue! It's actully like a tealy blue green. It rocks. Totally makes me look like a rockstar. And today! I went and renewed my driver's lisence since it expires next year and I have a GREAT photo AND AND AND!!!!!! It's no longer a up and down DL!!! It's all cross ways like a grown up adult!!!! WHOO HOO! Now I won't feel retarded when I go in the bar and they card me and I have to point out the date specifically. I TOTALLY LOVE IT. ♥
