The Omen |

Everything went off really well today. I had a bit of a hard time with walking around due to my toes, but I was lucky that I could get a piggy back around in the water a bit from Phil and Trevor. It helped when the water was bothering it, or I needed a rest off of that foot. The bruising it pretty intense, as is the swelling, and it's throbbing something awful, but I made it through the day. It seemed, from last night, that Phil wasn't gonna go, but since Trevor slept in, Phil was able to get enough rest to be able to go and face the day. We rocked out on the way there, and then went swimming. We then went for lunch, got ice cream and then laid about in the sun, which was awesome and amazingly relaxing. I've been feeling really tired and kinda sick since we got home, and gassy too. I know. Too much information. My apologies. I had a bath (and fell asleep in the bathtub, which is incredibly normal for me), and then decided to pop in one of the movies that I bought the other day. I chose the remake of The Omen. I'm still watching it now, but I'm very impressed. I think they've done a great job, though it feels more a drama than a horror movie in spots. I really love it, though. 4 DVDs for the price of 3 = the most amazing thing to ever happen to my movie collection. Also. My Mum bought me a nice pair of jeans with a neat belt last night, and a comfy pull over sweater that is red with chocolate stripes. What else, what else? Well, I bought some handmade charms from a dear artist on DA whom I really admire. Just waiting for them to be shipped. They're beautiful, and he was very kind to me. I really like knowing him. Communicating with him made my heart sing. My Mum and Phil are at some family reunion thing for Phil's side of the family, right now, so I have the place to myself. Thus, the watching of The Omen. I'm working on compiling a list of names for when Amanda and I get our ratty, if we end up doing so. Just possibilities, something to do to keep my mind occupied. I reaaaally want to draw a portrait, but I'm not sure of whom. I'm considering doing another one of Tom Waits. I really don't know. I realize I'm rambling.
