New Orleans is known for its multicultural heritage as well as its music and cuisine. It is considered the birthplace of jazz. Its status as a world-famous tourist destination is due in part to its architecture and its annual Mardi Gras and other celebrations. It is often called the "most unique city" in America.
It also has a high violent crime rate. Its homicide rate has consistently ranked in the top five of large cities in the country since the 1980s. It's up to The New Orleans Police Department's 8th District Crime Scene Investigators to solve these crimes. They're responsible for crimes commited in the French Quarter and Central Business District of the city, including the historic sites of the Quarter, the major financial and medical districts, and world renowned convention and sports facilities.
csi_no is an original CSIverse, created by thiscanbegin and siriusly_sex. This series features many original characters as well as a few from the exisiting series.
