I'm just as upset as everyone that
SGA is being cancelled, but I don't think it's really
hit me yet. Maybe it's because I'm so caught up with
SG-1 right now that I can't seem to focus on anything but that.
Still, I think it's fucked up that they're cancelling just so they can get movies out of it. As I told
siriusly_sex, if they want movies, they should just make the break between seasons longer. Like, everyone other year put out a new season, with a movie in between or something. Kind of like this: season - break - movie - break - season. At least that way we'll still get the show but they can do their movies too. But it's not like they'll listen to me.
Anyway, in honour of the show's passing,
siriusly_sex is coming up after the weekend, to hang out and watch
SG-1,
SGA and possibly
A Dog's Breakfast if we have time. It's going to be so much fun, omg.
Tomorrow though (technically later today), I need to get cleaning and organizing the office, so there's room of us to actually move around. I would have hoped to have convinced my grandma by now to let me get a couch for in here, but no luck on that front. Still, blankets and pillows on the floor will be just as good.
So, remember my "I ♥ vicodin" post the other day? I still love it, but the last couple of nights after I've taken the pills, I've been feeling weird.
See, a couple of days ago I fucked up my knee, don't ask me how, I just did. It gets really bad after I've been sitting here watching
SG-1 for hours on end. So the other night, I took a couple of vicodin and kicked it in the recliner until they kicked in. An hour later I was
gone, so I went to bed.
This is where it gets weird. Both times I have taken Vicodin before bed (last night and the night before), I end up doing the exact same thing. First falling asleep on my back, and then eventually rolling over so I'm laying on my stomach. That's when my body starts to get all relaxed and I just melt into the bed. After that I get really hot, like fever sweating hot and have to change position til I'm under the fan.
Usually that's about the time that I fall asleep completely and am out of it.
Does anyone else who's taken vicodin before bed have similar experiences? It's just weird that both times, I literally experience the exact same thing and the exact same feelings.
I'm taking another one before bed tonight, cause I need it, so we'll see what happens.
And speaking of bed, I'm going to do that now. I want to be up early to get organizing/cleaning.
