Rules:
General Rules
001. You must be a member of the community in order to request a claim.
002. All fics submitted for this community must be a new fic (you can combine challenges from this community and other communities, but you can not post a previously written fic.)
003. Fics should be a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 1500 words in length. In some cases we know fics are going to go over the max word count, and it's not a big worry. Multi-chapter stories are allowed but remember your timeline for completeion.
004. Please wait until your claim has been approved before posting to the community.
005. Your first fic for the community should be posted within two weeks of being approved.
006. There is a monthly claims check. If you do not reply stating that you want to keep your claim, you will lose your claim and have to re-apply for it.

Claims/Waiting List Rules
001. Claims can be a specific character, a pairing (romantic or otherwise, and can include a CSIverse crossover pairing), a threesome, a season (ie CSI Season One), and so on. Claims can be a crossover between any of the CSI shows (ie, CSI: Miami/CSI: NY crossovers). Crossovers between CSI shows and non-CSI shows are to be approved on a person-to-person basis.
002. The same subject can be claimed by multiple people as long as they choose a different table. Any subject may also have multiple combo claims.
003. No monopolizing. Please don't pick a pairing and one of the characters in that pairing as your claim; let others have a chance to write the characters, too.
004. If you pick a character you can pair them with anyone, even if someone else already has that claim. However, a single character can not be claimed with the intent to pair that character with only one other character. 25 of the fics must have your character interacting with other characters in a non-shippy way and/or where the character is the sole focus of the story. The remaining half can be shippy, as long as they do not focus on one ship.
005. If you pick a single character, you are able to do ten crossover fics. It is preferred that they stay CSIverse, but it is not required.
006. If you are on the waiting list, you are more than welcome to write up your entire claim while waiting. Just do not post until a mod has told you the claim is open.
007. If for some reason you cannot finish your claim, you are more than welcome to claim it again at another date. If you had written 10 stories or less you may pick up exactly where you left off. If you wrote over 10 stories, you must start all over.

Prompts/Posting Rules
001. One of the fifty prompts from whatever set(s) you choose must be used in each of your fics. How you interpret the prompt is up to you. You can mix and match from multiple prompt sets, or use only one set of prompts. Please state which prompt you are using and from which set list.
002. Fake cuts to your journal and multiple fics per post are okay, please use a lj-cut when posting fics in the community, regardless of word count.
003. Please make sure that all fics are appropriately rated.
004. It is your responsibility to tag your post after it has gone up in the community.

Getting Started:
So you've read the rules and have looked over the prompt set lists and you've decided you'd like to write 50 drabbles/fics on a CSI subject. Now what? First claim your subject at this post. If your subject has already been taken, feel free to sign up for the waiting list.

Once you've been approved, please leave a comment at this post so that a tag can be created for your subject. If there is already a tag for your subject, leave a comment so that the mod in charge of tags knows you've been approved.

Once your claim has been completed, please leave a comment at this post so that you can get a nifty banner to show off to your friends.
