Combo Prompts Set

I have created a blank prompts list for those of you doing combo claims. The headers each say t x, p y; for x put the table number and for y put the prompt number.

I know. But it works with both sets and there are going to be some people who use each prompt table alone.

Well, I just thought I'd point it out since the same thing happened with Time, and you guys changed one of them. *shrugs*

Oh, no, I understand. That time the repeated prompt was on the same prompt list, though. Which was probably my fault because when I changed the table text size I think I copied and pasted it in. ::sheepish look:: Me = idiot.

And I'm sorry if I seemed a little snippish; I was replying quickly before running off to visitation this morning.

Ah. Okay then. And you're not an idiot. :P

S'okay. I haven't slept much, so I'm sure I sound bitchy too. ;)

[info]aaronlisa said prompt 4 is going to be angsty. And I'm glad you like three; I actually came up with 50 prompts and forgot that two of them are writer's choice. I figured a set of prompts geared towards the romantic would be a plus for anyone else writing shippy fic.

I had chosen set one for my prompts - but now I am going to wait for the fourth set, because I love angst.... I'll just doodle for the next few days. It will be up soon, right?

It's actually going up in about three minutes or so; I was posting a bunch of graphics at a different journal.

Okay. . . so I didn't exactly want to reveal myself as an amateur here, but. . .

WHAT THE HECK DOES ALL THAT MEAN?

Sorry, I feel so dumb. I need something to write and was looking for a challenge, but. . . I don't understand this. :-(

lol...it's okay, honest. Being an amateur is perfectly okay here.

First, go over to the claims list and stake your claim; if it's already taken, head over to the waiting list and post there that you want it when it opens up. Keep in mind which set of prompts you want (1, 2, 3, 4 or combination of the four prompt sets). I do the claims approval, and I tend to reply within a day. Once I tell you you've got your claim, come back to this post.

See the text area boxes underneath the prompts? You simply copy everything in it and then paste the coding in your journal. If you're doing a combo, there's a blank table for your use. As you answer each prompt, you link the story back to it.

Say I chose prompt set 1, and I wrote a story for prompt #49 (writer's choice, which means I choose whatever the prompt is). I go into my table, list what I chose for the prompt next to Writer's Choice, and then link my story back to that specific square on the table.

It'll end up looking like this, without the spaces:

< a href="http://www.mystory.com" >Writer's Choice - music< /a >

Then I save the edited post and there should be a link.

I hope that answers your question...

Just wondering...

So I've made a started on my Catherine claim, figured it's better to start now instead of waiting until it's my turn... anyhow, I do have a question: I'm going to do prompts from #1 and #4, but would it matter if say I had more prompts from set one than four? Or does it have to be 25 from each? So far, I've selected more from set one and I've chosen #7 and 34 from both sets, again would that matter?

Nope, it's whatever 48 prompts appeal to you plus your two Writer's Choice prompts. And it can be from any of the four tables, too.
