| About: | Community Supported Agriculture is a terrific way to help support local organic farmers while at the same time obtaining a wide variety of fresh, local produce. Often CSA food baskets will also introduce us to fruits, vegetables and herbs that we are not accustomed to eating and cooking with. This community hopes to help everyone out with identifying their new and wonderful foods, and providing ideas for preparing and storing them. It makes it so much easier when looking through old posts for things. * Please use tags. The basic tags that I would like to see are: Week # (based on when your baskets/boxes/deliveries started) and major CSA related ingredient(s)... I may go through and adjust the tags as well. * Veg*an recipes are preferred, but anything is welcome. * If there is more than one picture, especially if they are large, please put them behind a cut. * Even if there are no pictures, please put longer posts (posts longer than about 10 lines) under a cut. | |
