Crystal Palace III: Crystallina & Her Electra Complex is a vibrantly illustrated aspiring-animated-movie in the works about an ice demon man named Akira and human woman named Jennifer that get married and eventually have a child that ruins their lives! In this dazzling third installment (which btw can be read without previous immersion), Crystallina convinces herself that the affection she has always had, and only had, for her father is actually adult-love, and makes various attempts to kick her mother out of the family. Meanwhile, with Akira's stress level boiling, and his borderline alcoholism not seeming to be able to fix the problem, he bangs it up with his ex-servant and fails at being inconspicuous. What will Jennifer think when she finds out? Will the family crumble? Why are they so godamn fucked up? Find out!

The Adventures of Akira and Jennifer - Highschool-age comic about Akira and Jennifer as teenagers, before the marriage days, and their adventures in the Paper Mario universe. Crystallina does make an appearance via futuristic technology.

AKIRA
Age: 21 (chronologically approx. 230)
Height: 6'
Akira's the father, an ice demon that was once prince of a collapsing monarchy and is now just trying to live a normal life. He works at a phone company and can't seem to get any kind of benefits as former royalty, his thunder being stolen by his wife, who's a successful film director. He keeps his actual feelings pretty underwraps, being kind of a jerk to everyone, drinking when he's stressed, and daydreaming when he can. He likes to read, drive alone, and brood over how much his life isn't looking up. |

CRYSTALLINA
Age: 7 1/2
Height: 4'2"
Crystallina is Akira and Jennifer's daughter, a very intelligent, witty little brat that practically chooses to be antisocial but her parents don't do nearly enough to steer her in the right direction. She decides whether or not she likes someone within the first 10 or 15 seconds of knowing them, and has thus decided her peers are all inferior, Cosmo is a douchebag + pedophile, her mommy is a bitch that knows nothing about her, and her daddy is the ultimate direction of her affection. |

COSMO
Age: 27 (chronologically approx. 295)
Height: 5'7"
Cosmo is a recently-relieved-of-duty ex-servant which has lead him to be a very non-assertive pushover unless in extreme situations. He has taken care of Akira for a very long time, and he's tired and a bit resentful of the fact that he can't get anywhere in life and his only friends are his ex-master and his wife. That isn't to say he's a bad guy- he's very neat, polite, and thoughtful. He had an apartment before this story and has goals of becoming a concert violinist and starting a family of his own. He's just... kind of a loser right now. Did I mention that he's Akira's cousin as well? He is.

JENNIFER
Age: 41
Height: 5'4"
Jennifer is a mother who's actually getting very used to how screwed up her family is. Her and Akira continue to grow distant, are bad at talking about their feelings, and almost enjoy exercising their bitchiness. She tries to be a good mother for Crystallina and continues to take her verbal (and sometimes physical) abuse, but it's slowly catching up with her.

ANUS & FAMILY
Age: ?
Height: All a foot or less.
Anus, his wife Anusette, and kids (Anus. Jr, Anuline, Anusander, Anuria, Anal) are a group of penguins living in Akira's hometown that've been friends of the family for a couple generations. Anus met him in his first days of being a free man of the ice demon monarchy and has witnessed his life change and grow (for better or worse). He knows a thing or two about everyone, is what I'm getting at. He's also Jewish.

General illustrator for the series and Crystallina's voice actress. Is a full time writer and aspires to become a film director.
Kate/chance_medley - Co-creator of Crystallina, and the Anus family, and the parody sequels (CP2, CP3 + those still to come! ). Is a part time, and usually private! too private!, writer. Aspires to become a funeral director and script-writer.
Updates:
Depends on our mood (although usually Kate's), so updates are best described as sporadic. But it's safe to say that by a month, we will start realizing that we need to churn something out and sit down to do it. Every new part is something like 10-15 pages.
Illustrations:
I try to have one per part, sometimes two if I'm really inspired, but sometimes real life issues interfere.

| | disclaimerEven though it's listed on the Crystal Palace 2 website, we feel the need to reiterate that though this third movie strays, the second was largely involved with a setting that is not our own, however cliche it is, and however easily we could burn the bridges. The Shiver Region, Shiver City, and the Crystal Palace are all places in the 2001 N64 game Paper Mario (Jennifer's favorite game. :3)
