    Hello!
    Hello!

I'm new and thought I'd introduce myself! Sorry If I end up rambling..I tend to do that...a lot.

    Basics:
    Name: Carrisa (Female)
    Age: 23 (4/4/1982)
    Where I live: Weatherford, Tx

I've known and loved Rasputina for well over 4 years now...and just recently noticed how popular they are getting. I even got my Best Friend obsessed with them!
I love them yet have not yet been to a concert..if anyone hears of one in the Texas area any time..please let me know!
I'm also into Japanese rock...but that's another story.
I love corsets..and I am having a very hard time finding any that are VERY old that I might be able to buy..I'm also wanting a top hat..also antique. I have found some..but the price is just frightning. OO

Blah blah blah...anyways..yea, this is me...and thats that..so..
    Hello everyone!

i saw my first Rasputina show on sunday night. in memphis -- was anyone else there? the venue is small, and the stage is incredibly tiny. of course the band was amazing. i was really close to the stage... right in front of melora. if she had looked ahead, she would have been looking me right in the eyes, but she didn't. zoe keating was also AMAZING and beautiful. she is an intense performer. it was amazing. the setlist was pretty good. the slow songs they played were my favorites... the ones that really get me good. i would've melted onto the floor so many times if my girlfriend hadn't caught me over and over. i really liked the live version of "rats" too. i was impressed with the fact that all the songs still sounded great with only two cellos. they ended with 2 or 3 covers, which made me sad. i don't like covers at the end of a show. but luckily, they came back for an encore, played another cover and then "new zero." i got a shirt! woohoo! i wish i had gotten to stay and try to meet them, but we had had to sneak in anyway, and it was late... poo on school and english term papers. HOWEVER, that concert changed my life and was certainly worth failing school for.

    *sorry for the crosspost*
