Crunch Pod Mail Order is broken [29 Jun 2009|12:12pm]

c_a_t_

Crunch Pod mail order will be down until further notice. probably Tuesday night.

We've had a severe database issue that has pretty much destroyed the site and I will have to reinstall and readd all of the items by hand and completely redo the inventory.

Due to my otherwise insane schedule this could take up to 2 - 3 weeks to accomplish.

I may set up a generic html page to pre-sell the syndika:zero and C/A/T pre-orders or those albums may not be able to be sold by Crunch Pod until after their tour in August.

I had an old back-up so I'm only having to re-invent the wheel with the newer releases. We did lose ALL customer data and order history though (I have email back-ups). If you had an account on the store it's gone and needs to be recreated once we're live again.

I will also be adding new items either during this outage or shortly thereafter and we'll be adding a "free" 192kbps mp3 .zip with the purchase of most CDs so you'll be able to enjoy the music immediately and not have to wait for the USPS to deliver...

I'm sorry about this. This year has been shit and this is just the icing on the cake...

Crunch Pod is moving [24 Jun 2009|04:03pm]

c_a_t_
We should be totally moved into our new place (and new Crunch Pod HQ) by this weekend. I also hope to be back online by then.

That said, we're a bit behind on the Mail Order order processing since it's Kat and to a lesser degree myself, that do that part of the label.

Having the Captive Six EPs come in during the middle of this unplanned relocation is also providing for a fun experience where after day of moving in the summer heat (yay!) I'm sitting down and signing the discs and packing as many as I can. If it takes a few days longer to receive you order, this is why... we had to move a 4 bedroom house and enough stock for a small warehouse with very little notice on top of our other daily obligations.

I appreciate everyone's patience and I WILL be slowly implementing a "free download when you buy a hard copy" thing to all Crunch Pod titles in the mail order once I'm back online at our new location so hopefully this will help some of you get your "fix" faster in the future.

That said, we should be starting the pre-orders for the new [syndika:zero] double CD and C/A/T EP very soon. Just waiting on the masters to come back so I can zip up the albums for free download to reward pre-orderers.

Uberbyte "DOS" reviews and Crunch Pod sampler news [08 Jun 2009|04:02pm]

Reviews of DOS so far :

"while remaining damned heavy, Uberbyte have made quite a bit of progress... “DOS” certainly surpasses their debut" Side Line (belgium)
"I would even go so far as to say that I an affirmed non-dancer couldn't help but sway to the fascinating rhythms in 'DOS'. For the music connaisseur there is even lots of hidden technical sound gadgetry waiting to be discovered" (U)selinks webzine (germany)
"Uberbyte hops on the train of the TBM-hype and do not miss goal. The sound is good and the vocals sound very fresh…" Gothtronic (holland)
"Uberbyte is firing on all cylinders and Crunch Pod has a pretty big hit on their hands. It's going to be difficult to get through a club night this year without hearing at least one track off this album" Dark twin cities (US)
"you will be sure to hear (DOS) on industrial dancefloors. DOS is worth buying.. doesn’t require you to skip over filler songs." 5skullz.com (US)

Our label Crunch Pod have a free sampler featuring Uberbyte and loads of other kick ass bands from the roster. Go download it:

Distro sale - plus mail order re-organized [08 May 2009|01:01am]

c_a_t_
Thanks to everyone who has helped thin out our backstop as we scale Crunch Pod Mail Order back to only carry Crunch Pod related merchandise.

The sale remains up on Discogs.com until we've sold the last non-Crunch Pod CD so head over to our Discogs.com page to catch some deals before it's all gone!

Also, I've taken this time to restructure Crunch Pod Mail Order.

We've decided to group the mail order by BAND / ARTIST. On each artist's page you can choose between the various CDs, Downloads and T-Shirts we offer by each band.

For example, here is Caustic's page on Crunch Pod Mail Order.

We will still be providing the same quick turnaround on all orders through our site and appreciate your continued support.
