Cruel Intentions was released on March 5th, 1999 and it was rated R. The Director of this movie was, Roger Kumblel; This film was his debut movie. The cast of this movie included: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon, Sean Patrick Thomas, Selma Blair, Christine Baranski, Joshua Jackson, Swoosie Kurtz, Tara Reid, Jim Jenkins, &Phil Hawn. The Movie was a teenage modernization of the 1988 movie, Dangerous Liasons. And that, was based on a french novel by
Choderlos de Laclos named Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
