There she goes... [08 Sep 2008|12:00am]

Hello everyone, here comes yet another Good Omens addict~! Bringing fanfiction~!
Or rather a [info]1sentence challenge completed without even entering the community *sweatdrop*... Anyway, it was my little test at how much I'm able to keep Aziraphale and Crowley in character and I believe it turned out quite well. So without further delay, I present you 50 (sadly unbeta-ed) sentences on a certain Angel and a certain Demon. Enjoy~

First of all, I'm really sorry I didn't reply to the comments on my introductory post, I'm usually very good about things like that. I honestly just forgot. Yes, I am that lame.

And now, I present you with my first piece of Good Omens fic. I've been reading Crowley/Aziraphale obsessively for a while now, and today the urge struck me to finally write some. It may not be up to par, my beta only knows the fandom I almost always write in, The Last Herald Mage series by Mercedes Lackey. Sooooo... it's unbeta'd and the characterization's a bit questionable so far as I'm concerned, but hopefully it's at least entertaining. Now, without further ado...

Title: It’s Always Best to Ask
Author: Laela
Fandom: Good Omens
Pairing: Crowley/Aziraphale
Wordcount: 1110
Rating: … I guess I’ll say R to be safe.
Warnings: Erm. Very heavily implied sex, Crowley discovering a Harlequin novel…
Summary: Crowley finds a book he really wouldn’t expect Aziraphale to have – and you know what? It seems pretty familiar…

Read on... )

While I'm here, I'll show off my GO-related craft...

'Ineffable' bracelet )

I also painted a t-shirt so it says 'sauntered vaguely downwards' on the side, but I can't get any decent pictures. I'll keep trying.

I've been RPing and ff.net-ing for years. I think its time to get my feet wet in communities, yes? As it so happens, I've only been able to think about Crowley and Aziraphale for the past week. So. Bugger it alle, looks like you're all stuck with me. But here's a fic in compensation?

Title: Beauty
[info]Fandom: Good Omens
Characters:
Crowley/Aziraphale
Rating:
PG, I suppose
Summary:
Aziraphale has a hard time dealing with the true incarnation of his own personal demon, but Crowley doesn't care much for the angel's problems.
Warnings:
Ethereal!Crowley. Fluffy.

For my favorite pairing... [13 Aug 2008|02:24am]

First poster, here! I offer a bit of fiction. Slashy, and just over 1,000 words.

Title:Ineffability and Effort
Author: [info]heretic_leader
Rating: PG-13 for a naughty word and implications of an equally naughty, though much less hostile, nature
Characters/Pairings: Crowley/Aziraphale
Summary: It's always important to make an effort to do the right thing, but what that "thing" is is debatable.
Disclaimer: Crowley and Aziraphale belong to geniuses far greater than I.
Warnings: Tread carefully, boys and girls, here there be slash.

Crowley’s grin was maddening, in more ways than Aziraphale cared to admit )

Or there's always the ff.net link.

This is a rather old story I wrote for a friend's birthday...which was in March. But it was my first attempt at writing deliberate slash, which is a feat in and of itself considering how much of the stuff I read. Plus, I felt like sharing something, and I am quite fond of it. Hope you enjoy!

Title: Crowley Versus the French
Rating: hard R
Warnings: Mildly graphic slash, abuse of the French
Summary: Crowley feels that Aziraphale has not been adhering to the agreement quite as strictly as he should have.

Well, obviously your side invented it.

FIC: "Of Adam, Moses, and Tantalus" [27 Jul 2008|01:36am]

freudian_fuckup

Title: Of Adam, Moses, and Tantalus
Rating: PG-13/R
Summary: He wants to be inside Aziraphale in a way that mortals can never be. He wants to tear him open, see what scriptures are carved into his bones, and devour what makes him holy.

Aziraphale whispers prayers like “hallelujah” and “eli” against the demon’s skin...

I TURNED SIXTEEN ON MONDAY!!! And because I am so excited, I decided to give everyone a birthday treat. Personally, I'm not very happy with the Aziraphale segment in this one. :( Sorry about it.

Disclaimer: I am neither Terry Pratchett nor Neil Gaiman. I'm just a GO nerd who loves nature.

So for a teensy intro: hi, I'm one of those people that lurks pathetically more often than posting in various communities. I suck at this game.

Call me Lemon. (:

Now, I'm pretty sure I saw an LJ roleplay advertised here only about two posts back, so I thought I'd advertise another one.

Newbie... [04 Jun 2008|03:56pm]

freudian_fuckup
I read Good Omens for the first time a few months ago, and I've been wanting to write something for this pairing ever since. Finally, finally, finally, I've churned this out. I've never written anything for this fandom before (or anything outside the Harry Potter fandom, actually), but this pairing compelled me. Let me know how I did.

Title: The Moment
Rating: PG-13ish
Summary: There are Moments at which even an angel must question exactly how ineffable the Ineffable Plan could possibly be.
Notes: First time, be kind... My ego is highly flammable.

The Moment

If I've violated any comm rules, just let me know. Posting new places always makes me nervous :)

A little pimping for a new Multifandom RP [02 Jun 2008|07:14pm]

darkradwings
Okay so I wasn't entirely sure if this is allowed here or not, but here we go. This is a new RolePlayGame my friend started. It's open to anyone who would like to join by application or invite.

Paraluna, A Multifandom, Multidimension RPG )

crossposted everywhere (sorry if you see this more than once...)
P.S. - To be wholly honest with you all, I think having an Azi and a Crowley would be ridiculously funny in a RP community like this one.... so SOMEONE. PLEASE JOIN AS ONE OF THEM if not both *coughcough*.

Finished Good Omens a week and a half ago. I'd suppose it's pretty needless to say I've been hunting out Crowley/Aziraphale fic obsessively ever since? :D The fandom seems completely amazing, as far as fandoms go, even on FanFiction.net, where there is evil that does not sleep. Unlike Crowley. /end lame joke

I'll definetely be writing some when I get a halfway decent idea, so this seems like the perfect community for me.

I always feel stupid when my introductory posts have absolutely no point besides the introducing, so... I'll be happy to supply people with fic suggestions from my huge list of links, if you so desire. :D

And... this always sounds like such a corny question, but I'm too curious not to ask it. I connect songs to everything, as some sort of habit. I cannot listen to songs, no matter how much I like them, unless I can associate them with something. This worsens if I write fanfiction for the thing in question.

So, I feel obliged to ask: Do you do this? What songs do you associate with C/A or the book in general?

Pimpage [25 May 2008|12:36pm]

subcutis
I think it's fair to say that Crowley/Aziraphale is a prince among pairings at the very least, but does it aspire to the seraphic heights of the few, the privileged, the </a></b></a>[info]almost_canon ?

The shamelessly pimped community above has been created as a forum for discussion regarding near-canon, as well as a place to post fics and fanart. At some point in the future, virtual certificates for near-canon authenticity will be awarded to the pairings which have been best argued in reference to the text and authorial intent; members have the opportunity to vote on whether the pairing gets certified or not.

[artwork] "Heaven and Hell", Aziraphale, Crowley, G [09 May 2008|09:38am]

Hello!
I have been lurking in the shadows for a while, but I thought now would be a good moment to come out and share my first GO artwork with you! :)

Title: "Heaven and Hell"
by Eve Le Dez ([info]lineae)
Characters: Aziraphale, Anthony J. Crowley
Rating: G
Disclaimer: No harm meant, no money made. Aziraphale and Crowley are characters from "Good Omens. The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, witch." by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. And I'd never dream of messing with an angel and a demon anyway...
Feedback and constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated.

Does anyone know of any stories in which Aziraphale defends Crowley (physically or otherwise)? It's been a while since I've read High Treason by Tomo Trillions, but I think that's what got my imagination going. The image of Aziraphale wielding a sword has been floating around in my head for a few days, and since the previous post was okay, I thought I'd ask.

Thanks. :)

I don't know if this kind of thing is allowed here, but... Figured this would probably be the place to ask. I'm a newbie here, and have read only a handful of fics for this pairing. As such, I have a couple of requests.

1) Are there any nice, long fics in which Crowley causes Aziraphale to fall? I don't want to root through dozens of pages to find what I'm looking for, so...

2) As previously stated, I'm new to this whole thing. Are there any other "classic" Crowley/Aziraphale fics I ought to read? Again, preferably long and with some semblance of plot?

I would be much obliged if any of you could help me out.
