Hi!!!

Can't believe I found here and that this community still seems to be alive!
Fell in love with the Crouch family and their story, especially Junior himself back in 2003 and I still haven't found anything as brilliant in fantasy stories than them/him. <3

I'll be back but I just won't bother to introduce myself and my opinions on the character here now 'cause I just wrote ita all to my fan site for the character. I used to keep them up years ago but couple of years ago I closed them for a while and now have re-opened:

Anyone RP Barty?

It seems that no one RPs as Barty anymore :( I'm in a game on gj, Sleeping With Ghosts, where I play Narcissa Black. Anyway, Narcissa really needs Barty because she used to date him and there's this whole thing where she's in need of him. Also, Regulus wants him there because he needs friends who aren't Blood Traitor females. The game's really good and active with friendly players, but it really needs a Barty.

Hopefully this is ok to post here. I tried RP ad comms, but no one seems to play him. It's sad.

Its a ramble. Sort of. Its when Bartemius Crouch Junior was in Azkaban when young, his train of thought really. Short.

"Bartemius Crouch Junior. Bartemius Crouch Junior. Bartemius Crouch Junior." He keeps repeating in his head, as if he would forget if he stopped. He was lying in his cell. This room, made of dirt and rocks was expected to make him feel some what less suicidal? He some what doubted that as he repeated his name to himself over and over. Caught at Hogwarts and given the Dementors Kiss. They all think he's a living corpse but he isn't. Ohhh no.. Barty Junior doesn't give up that easy... he'd get out, he knew it. The voices stopped and he store at the ceiling for ashort while before running a hand through his hair.

"I Am Barrrrttty!!!" he laughs manicly, staring out towards the ocean outside.

This is part of a much longer (multifandomed) fic, but it works well as a ficlet. I apologize for it but I doubt the longer version will ever see the light of day, simply because it's really rubbish.

Heyyyy guys! I figure, to get a decent character portrayal, come to the fans, right?

seventynine is a humourous post-DH MWPP-era rpg set in 1979.

We really need a Barty Crouch Jr right now; he'd be in his 6th year at Hogwarts. The Marauders, Snape, Lily etc are a year out of school, and Regulus and Lockhart would be in the year above him. We is going to be the 1979 Hogwarts triwizard tournament winner and have a bunch of plot with our wonderful Lestranges, so he's really needed.

We open on the third, and there are still plenty of characters available (for balance we really need neutral Ministry types, women, and a Mulciber!) Check out theooc to read through the required info and maybe place a hold for him.

You might as well give it a try, we'd really appreciate it!

Words: Approximately 350
Summary: Barty has doubts. Missing scene during the third task in GoF.
A/N: Written for 30minutefics. Constructive criticism is appreciated and encouraged! Especially for a character as complex as Barty... Did I do him any justice?

Massive green hedges arranged in a complex labyrinth blocked the vibrant pink sunset. The spectator’s eyes were fixated upon the overgrown shrubbery, hoping, itching, to catch a glimpse of one of the four champions as they battled the magical obstacles between them and victory. So fixated in fact, that they were far too busy to spot a man sprinting alongside the perimeter of the maze, his wand brandished in front of him.

Barty Crouch Junior, disguised as Mad Eye Moody, panted loudly as he increased his speed; Potter was faster than he looked. Barty had unexpectedly lagged behind the boy and was desperately attempting to catch up. Moments later, without warning, Potter took a left turn into the heart of the labyrinth and Barty cursed Moody’s magical eye for not being able to see through more than one of the overgrown hedges.

Barty had started out with high hopes for succeeding on his assignment. He had already taken the girl and the Quidditch player out of the running, but now he could only hope that Potter got to the cup before Diggory did. His master would not be enthused if he sent him the wrong boy.

Sitting down to catch his breath, he shivered unconsciously and wrapped his arms protectively around his chest. It was a cold evening despite the fact that it was June.

So beautiful and breathtaking, the pink horizon mocked him vindictively, cruelly, as though reminding him that he had a choice: a choice between doing the right thing and doing what he was told. He closed his eyes and shook his head violently, forcing his doubts to escape his boggled mind. Seconds later, however, the sound of feet pounding on grass reached Barty’s ears and a second later Potter ran by so close to him, yet blocked by the opposite side of the hedge.

Energy, breath and hope restored, Barty rose to his feet and ran after the boy. Turning his back on the fading sunset, he ran, not knowing nor believing it possible that it would be the last time he’d ever see the sun disappear behind the Earth’s horizon.

Another 3 part fic. Bartys in trouble again, he has to be taken off the Earth to hide for a bit. (Centred around Barty, The Doctor and a couple of my own characters)

Parts1 and 2
mainly crack and a bit of fluff. A little swearing but no real smut. (Well maybe just a bit)
Part 3 A longer piece, got carried away. Completely X rated. much darker, might squick the faint of heart. swearing/implied rape/slash/graphic sex.
PS I dont know all the Harry Potter spells, so I made one up. Its in Latin so I guess its okay.

Announcing the Opening of the Marauder Era Rare Slash Exchange, or MERSE!

What's it about?
MERSE is a ficathon based on slash and femmeslash pairings in the marauder period. The exchange will take place during the summer of 2007.
We're talking everything from James/Snape to Lucius/Dumbledore to McGonagall/Bellatrix to Pettigrew/Rosier to Voldemort/Fudge. Yes. You read that last one right.

So what does this mean?
marauder era: From about the birth of the Maruaders to the death of James Potter. So about 1959 to about 1981.
rare slash: Obviously slash means no het, but what do I mean by rare? Basically this: no Sirius/Remus. So yes, I'm including James/Sirius, which isn't really rare in the Marauder era fics, but is rare in HP fiction generally. Medium-rare anyway.

Important dates
Sign-ups close: June 15, 2007.
Assignments sent: Within a week following close of sign-ups

Hi I'm new, god I cant believe I found this community, I only saw the goblet of fire a few days ago and I'm up to my neck in lust. I've been reading this community's posts all day and liked the Play Witch thingy. So it seemed only right I shouldnt just invite myself in without bearing a gift.
