Yes, I do realize. Obviously it will have to involve explosions, but I haven't a clue what else.

First I need to write how they first met, though. Both "first meetings". This series is going to have a really fractured chronology.

Oh, I think I get it now! It's the first in the series of "Methos and The Doctor," right? I think I misunderstood it and thought you meant the first Doctor instead, sorry!

So Methos... must have met the Doctor twice -- once with Rose, and once without her -- because Doctor recognizes him but Rose doesn't, and he knows them both by sight....

I love your Methos voice. So utterly insufferable. And the Doctor, who won't let him get away with it for long, despite being a whippersnapper of only 900? This is the kind of story that just doesn't want to stop.

Well done. Oh, very well done.

Oh, much more than twice...
When I get back to working on this (which could be a while, since I'm buried in [info]multiverse5000 at the moment) there are a few meetings I need to write (though some are probably going to be quite small)

- the first time the Doctor (1st Doctor) meets Methos
- the first time Methos meets the Doctor (different Doctor)
- Methos witnesses a regeneration
- the adventure Methos refers to above (and I have no idea what happens except that explosions and world-saveage are involved)
- the first time Methos meets Rose (I'd forgotten about that until you pointed it out)
- the story which matches this icon (and I have no idea what happens in that either)

Which is certainly enough to keep me going for a while!

I very desperately want to read this fic (and the others in the series), but I seem to be having some trouble accessing it- I keep on getting an error message after following the link.

The quotes that I've read in reviews, however, are quite fantastic, I'm happy to say. :D

Thanks! I read your Methos and the Doctor series, and then went on to read every other crossover that you've written with fandoms that I know. You're a fantastic author, and I hope you continue the series beyond the stories I've seen so far.

One of my personal favorites was the Doctor and Zaphod- that was utterly fantastic. I'm a horrible crossover addict, and I'm really picky about what I read (not a good combination) and your stories were great.

I do intend to continue the Methos-and-the-Doctor stories; I'm hoping to get a lot of my [info]crossovers100 stories done next year, as trying to cut down on distracting ficathons. Since my fandom for Crossovers100 is Doctor Who, that will include Methos-and-the-Doctor stories.

I do love writing crossovers, not just for the sake of writing crossovers, but considering them an opportunity to see Our Heroes through others' eyes and get to know them even better.
