A/N:  In the Smallville episode Hidden (#91 503, A.K.A. the one with the missle), the map of Kansas shows Metropolis on the border of Colorado, while Smallville is midstate.  Going by that map, Dodge city, Kansas would be halfway between the two.  In other words, the perfect setting for this part of the story.

A/N 2: In this series, Chance is Chance Winchester, the son of Dean Winchester and Chloe Sullivan.  He's got luck based powers and the ability to summon hellhounds.  Ben is Ben Braeden, who is Chance's half brother.  The entire Winchester clan has been sent by angels into the old west to stop demons.  At the moment, Ben and Chance are trying to get back to their family in Metropolis.  Wackyness ensues.  (It always does in Chance's presence)
