Little did they know she followed soon after needing money to take care of her little sister and her, not to mention wanting off the hellmouth. Angel and Wesley have broken up and wesley has moved in with Giles. With this move Wesley also expressed his desire not to run Angel investigations anymore, he stated that he would of course help when needed, but no longer wanted to be in charge. Wesley instead wants to work with Giles on the beginnings of a branch of the council moving stateside. With the death of Faith and the rising of a new Slayer, Makayla Rosethorn, they felt it was necessary. Quentin of course doesn't believe it will last, but he will atleast give it a chance. Not to mention Giles needs to feel useful again after Joyce's death and Buffy shutting everyone out. Angel dealing with the breakup and the stress of wolfram and hart's latest attack also stated that he was not in a place to run things. This left Gunn, Cordelia, Doyle, and Spike flourndering. After talking for hours they decided there was truly only one person who had the skills and talents to run things and that was Willow. Spike of course was not thrilled about this being as he had a strong dislike for Angel and Wesley at the moment, but he knew no matter what there are people who need them and with no leader they won't be able to help the helpless. Cordelia and Doyle have their own worries, aside from Angel's slow trip down evil brick road, she is pregnant with twins. Twins that could very well be part demon. She worries that this will cause more problems as well as daily wondering if she is fit to be a mother. All of this happening doesn't mask the ever growing threat of Wolfram and Hart. Willow now in charge has received a warning, one that proves a possibility that since Angel is busy worrying about Darla, Wolfram and Hart now need to take out their only other obstical....Cordelia. The group as a whole doesn't know how to protect Cordelia, and she just wants everyone to leave her alone. Her hormones mixed with everyone watching over her only add to the growing stress that flows through the hotel. The group would think that is all they have to worry about, but at the same time they also have to worry about a sudden rise in deaths of young girls between the ages of 15 and 17. Each young girl killed bears a birthmark on their back of their neck, the birthmark is always in the shape of a cross. No one is sure why this is happeneing, but the group will also be focusing on this. Their focuses split only leave an open door for something to happen...something no one expected. What they didn't expect of course involves Buffy and Dawn, Buffy has decided to take employment at Wolfram and Hart, seemingly being paid to fight evil. She thinks that she is doing what is right for her and Dawn and making money slaying never hurt anyone...or so she thought. Little did she know she was signing on to fight for the very evil that she thought she was fighting against. She will now have to ask the help of the people she shut out all those months ago.
