 So, this may be a totally weird request, but if anyone has finished up a Hello Cthulhu, would you mind telling me which color flosses you used on her?

I started barrelling through the project for a second time and I'm trying to get it done by the 9th for my man for his birthday and I think I'm going to make it, but I'm just so unsure as to what color I want to use for her body.

Aww, shoot. I have no idea. I might be able to look and guess. Hang on... Looks like I used DMC 3345. But then, I also did it against a very RED aida, so I wanted to go neither too olive nor too bright.

I'm stitching her on VERY red Charles Craft aida, so.. I'm trying to find the right middle ground for shade too. I think it was probably your project that inspired me to do the second go around on the red background instead of the light blue I was stitching her on the first time.

Ooooooh! I've become an enabler! :)

If I were doing it on light blue, I'd probably go towards olive.

You know what might be fun? Do it on the red, but change the bow in her hair to some holly berries and leaves for Christmas...!

Actually, I didn't even think about the canvas I was doing it on at the time. I just printed out the pattern and took it with me, and matched up the colors. Oh well.

I need to save up some $ to get back to a paid account so I can have my Hello Cthulhu icon again!

I found my light blue WIP of her. I now remember why I stopped. I was working her with DMC metallic green for the wings. And.. WOW! That was hell. She looked really cute though. I may finish her some day, though this piece that I'm working on right now is just gonna come back to me anyhow. (It's for my man. Because he is seriously <3 and loves Cthulhu AND Hello Kitty)
