The Meeting - Finished!
I finished "The Meeting on the Turret Stairs" (freebie size from www.artofstitching.com) a few days ago. All in all, I think it took about 6 weeks.


5"x7" on 18ct. aida



And looking at in person, you don't see all the white of the fabric between the stitches that the flash caught. LOL It really does look much smoother.

Next up, I just started the freebie size of Alphonse Mucha's "The Moon" on 22ct.

I love that painting.... which is why I have the uber-hugh GK version in my line up.

now all I have to do is get to it.

sorry... GK=Golden Kite. They do great art works cross stitch but they are all HUGE. Even the small pieces. But they are amazing. I love going to their gallery of finished works.

Someone on here... blanking on her user name, is woking on one of their piece.. Napoleon. It is jaw-dropping.

Ah yes. That Napoleon is astounding... I don't think I'm up to attempting something THAT intense. =)

I'll have to take a gander at their website, if just to ogle. lol

I have 9-10 of their charts. I think I am insane.
