05:09 pm - Celtic SAL Update
cross stitch
So I reinstalled my copy of PCStitch to see if it'd work with my XP machine. For the Stargate fans, I charted the Earth point of origin symbol for cross stitch, small enough for bookmarks.

I have also finished the first two parts of the Ink Circle Celtic Mystery. And I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with how the colors turned out. Every knot, every cat, every border is done. That gives me a few days off before the next part is released. Hopefully I won't see the green or gold anytime soon.

The Last Unicorn - Forget The World
I feel stupid for not having this bookmarked. I thought I did but I don't, so I'm asking for help.

There is a website (more of a blog) where someone is posting cross stitch patterns that they found in their grandmother's attic, free for anything who would like to use them. I tried my google fu, but it unfortunately came up empty. I think that it's original from a Scandaniavian country (though I could be completely incorrect), but that it is translated into English. Or something like that. I know it's been posted in here before.

Thanks in advance!
08:25 pm - Desiderata
Baby max
I have finished the words to the Desiderata

and was thinking about adding a border down each side. Any ideas about a Celtic/Swirly sort of border? Maybe a free one someone has found - if you have any recommendations. Or should I leave it as is?

So far the Desiderata is stitched over one on 27 count Laguna (I believe).  On cream and DMC colour 309.
11:48 pm - irises WIP
candy corn
I am working on the Iris from Bobbie G. Desgins. I bought mine as a kit, and the fabric is 14-count white Aida. I finished all of this particular shade of blue and decided it was time to take a picture.
