New stash & WIP
Its been a long time since I posted last. Kinda been on a break from stitching... not enough time and just needed a little break. After our trip to Florida a couple of weeks ago, I'm back at it!

There's a LNS I visited last year and this year I went prepared with extra $$. Only one of the charts I bought was for someone else. The rest are all for me. The best part is the owner tries to put in specialty fabrics and buttons/beads with each chart should they call for it. Clever marketing ploy if you ask me LOL I couldn't resist buying the fabric too since it went so well with the chart. I'm saving up already for next year... there were so many things I could have bought...

Lucky one... it'll be a couple of months before she comes back homewards and I get see her and K again... you are going to love!!!! the new album. If you get the chance, tell her Flame says hi :)

It's so nice when a LNS takes the initiative to stock the fabric, fibres and "pretties" for the patterns they figure will be hot sellers. Of course, my pocketbook is much lighter because of that nifty marketing tactic!

Really you think so? I hadn't noticed all the pink flamingos *wink*

I agree that LNSs stocking the fabric and little special extras required for a pattern do well for themselves. The way I see it even if it costs me a couple of extra $$ its worth it, because I dont have to look for them elsewhere and pay for postage if I buy online.

I know! Thats one that is hanging as a model in the store.. I drooled over the pattern and the fabric. Can't wait to tackle it either.
