Just Nan conversion
Furrygreen had asked about color conversion, so I thought I'd share the one I did of Just Nan's Among the Roses. (link to her page with pic)

I was a bit challenged by what I had on hand to choose from, but I hadn't wanted to spend money on floss just then. I knew I didn't want pink, and I didn't want a stupid charm in the center. (I just filled the center with stitching). Anyhow, I also added a lot more beads than the pattern called for, because well, I like beads :) I just used a gold Kreinik I had on hand, and didn't worry about it being the "right one". Stitched on 28ct evenweave, instead of linen.

Floss conversion and completed project pic under cut:

original color ~ my color
225 ~ 3752
315 ~ 792
316 ~ 322
340 ~ 435
500 ~ 310 (didn't have the right dark green, which would have been better)
501 ~ 3011
502 ~ 3364
611 ~ 3045
712 ~ 677
778 ~ 794
3746 ~ 301

Oh, wow. I like yours so much better. I'm not a fan of pink, really. Very nice!

Thanks! I like pink, in limited quantities. :) Too much of it reminds me of little girls' bedrooms with frilly canopies on the beds and lots of ruffles and unicorns. Which at one time I would have DIED FOR, but not so much now. heh.
