Baby Afghan
I've been enjoying seeing everyone's work for some time now and thought I'd post a project. It's simple but I'm pretty pleased with it.

Baby Afghan for little Miss Serena

Oooh, that's lovely! My friend showed me how to do the ripple pattern. I'm working on making a patchwork baby blanket. I've never pieced one together, so I may need her help for that, too. hehe She's my teacher.

The colors are wonderful and it's a very cheery blanket. Great work! How long have you been "hooking"?

Thank you! I would love to do patchwork but I really don't enjoy sewing the pieces together. I hope that you'll post a photo of your completed blanket.

I have been hooking for at least 30 years but I've done it sporadically and have not progressed beyond the simplest of stitches and patterns. I would love to tackle a thread project like a doily 'some day'.

Ohh!!! When I saw what colors you used, I knew it was going to be beautiful (I really love pink & green combos) but when I saw the pic, it took my breath away!!! Lovely job! :D

Thank you, I spent quite a bit of time thinking about and searching for the colors and I wasn't sure if they would be light enough for a baby blanket. I'm happy to report that my sister-in-law seemed to like the blanket very much.
