Finished object!
I finished my first adult-sized afghan last night! It's a crochet variation of the Lizard Ridge blanket using Noro Kureyon, and I totally love it. It's not quite bed-sized, although I haven't actually taken measurements - it's probably around 50"x66"? It'll be nice for curling up under on the couch. For the border I took all the leftover ends of Noro, put them in sort of a blended order (purples by purples, greens by greens, etc.) and did 5 rounds of sc, followed by a round of reverse sc in teal Cascade 220 (which I used for the seams). The whole thing took about 7 weeks (March 9 - May 1). The picture's a little dark, but it's a bright and happy blanket. I'm hoping to get it out to a sunny spot for a better picture soon.
But meanwhile, yay!!! And now I'm going to start on the Babette. More colors! (It's been pretty gray in these parts, so the colors are welcome.)
