| About: | This community is meant for me. Really, it is. You can join and then it can be for you too. But in order to describe this community, I'll need to describe myself, crit_knitter. If you like the same things I do, I invite you to join me in a community all about us. This is first and foremost a knitting community. I knit like a trained monkey on crack, usually becoming so involved in a project that I forget about flinging poo, which is what us crack monkeys are supposed to be doing for fun. However, this community is also a home for gamers, fandoms, geeks, teacher, and pagans. I'm a gamer girl, which means that I play everything from D&D to Halo. That knitted D4 pretty much made me pee myself. Trained crack monkeys aren't always housebroken, you see. I'm a shipper of the weirdest sort, includig HP: Tonks/Hagrid and Jossverse: Spike/Willow. Geeks and nerds like Charlie Epps in NUMB3RS et me all tingly. Nothing is sexier than a man with major math-fu skills. I'm hoping the teacher part is obvious, and I'm also hoping the pagan part is obvious. So, if any of those interests also interest you, I welcome you to my seventh circle of odd. THE RULES! 1. NO FLAMING!!! Constructive crits always allowed, but no one I know likes being flamed, and I know some pretty odd people. 2. If you turn out to be a Karma Whore, you will be banned. A Karma Whore is a person that annoys me with their stupid antics. Don't know what Karma is? Wikipedia is your friend. 3. You don't have to have all these same interests to join this community. Don't like geeks the same way I do? It's cool. I do think that if you don't knit or game, there won't be much here for you, but I welcome pretty much everyone. 4. I consider this an adult community. However, I leave the definition of adult up to you. If you can handle the material that happens here, I'm not going to ban you. However, if your mother/husband/whoever-moderates-you-internet shows up at my virtual doorstep and bitches me out, I will label you a Karma Whore and ban you. 5. The created of any kind is welcome here. Campaigns, fics, art, textile objects, new theories on gravity. Great! Post them here and share them with the LJ world! | |
