This community is for people who like to be creative and would like to receive small tidbits of other's creativity in the mail, with the chance to get to know one another. In order to get your penpal, post your survey and find someone else in the community you would like to share with.
Once we have enough members, I will have "rounds" available for you to participate in, so that you can be matched up with people in the community you would not normally talk to and receive some new inspiration! The idea is similar to the other swap communities out there but without the financial burden, and with the idea that you will always send a penpal-ish note (even if it's really short) with the thing you are sending them to let the other person get to know you beyond "fellow LJer".
Make sure to keep the community alive posting what you received from your penpal (if you want to include an excerpt of their writing or a picture of art make sure you have permission from your penpal first).
