AboutThis is a community for collectors of fashion dolls, from Barbies through to Tonners and BJDs. If you have a collection of one or more, than you are more than welcome!!
Through this community I'm hoping that we can begin one (or more) 'real life' doll clubs focusing exclusively on fashion dolls
This community will focus on three aspects of collecting fashion dolls:
Collecting
From buying at the local Target/Mr Toys, to buying off ebay, to collecting the most beautiful and unique dolls. This aspect focuses on what and where to buy, the history of collecting, and particular types of dolls and designers.
Creating
Focusing on sewing, painting, styling and generally creating everything your fashion doll could need. Here we can share patterns and ideas that we've had, ask questions about any problems we have, and display our beautiful creations. Creations can include clothes, hair, make up, accessories, furniture and shoes.
Displaying
How can we safely store our dolls? Do you create beautiful displays? Have you got a personal history for any of your dolls? What about themes? The focus here is on the storage and display of our dolls.
Please feel welcome to post on any of the above topics - or any that I have missed. From time to time I hope we can hold discussions on particular topics - but all discussion is welcome at all times.
And don't forget to make an introduction post when you first join!

2. No flaming. And I mean it.
3. You may advertise if you have a doll or associated 'things' for sale or trade at another site, but you must keep it to one a week, put it behind a cut and the mod will take no responsibility for any money/items
