Duplicate that layer (you now have 2 dark blue exclusion layers)

02 Make a new layer at Darken 100% and fill it with #D0C3AF. Duplicate that layer but set it to Multiply. (you now have 2 light brownish layers at different modes)

03 Duplicate your base and drag it to the top. Set it to soft light 100% Now duplicate that layer and change the opacity to what suits you. I chose 34%

04 Now take this texture by me and set it to screen 100%

Done!

Comments are ♥
Enjoy!

Here I come with another tutorial! Since school has started, I don't have much time on the laptop.

MAKE THESE:

USING ANY PROGRAM!!

01 Open a 100 x 100 canvas and paste this texture BY ME.

02 Now open any picture MAKE SURE IT HAS A SOLID BG!! If it does not have a solid colored bg. Then figure it out :)

03 Crop your picture however you want it to be. Now press CTRL + SHIFT + U (desaturate) or go to hue/sat. and set the sat. to - 100 and flatten

04 copy your picture (cropped) and paste it on the texture. Set it on Multiply 100%. If the bg is still showing a bit; using a soft brush, erase the edges.

05 Now make a new layer at Multiply 100%. Click on the brush tool and pick a round brush with the size of your choice. I chose a number from 50-80. But that's your choice. Now pick a bright/light color. And on the new layer, stamp the brush. If you do not like the color, undo it and choose another color.

06 Now if you want to make a hole in the circle; choose the eraser tool and pick a round brush but make sure it's smaller than the brush you stamped. Now in the middle of the circle.

07 If you want to put some tiny text. I used Arriere Garde (dafont.com) and wrote:
b;ah blujghjkhfgorhjg
jkdsfhgjklhrlktyjhlkgh
hlrkthglkrthglkrhlk
hrlkhgklrhgjlkrthjlkjhglkrthj with the text size on 3-4 px. The color was white so I put the text layer on Soft Light 90-100%.

DONE!! Wasn't that so easy to accomplish a very nice icon??
RESULTS = LOVE
COMMENTS = LOVE

The easiet and fastest pictures are ones with a white bg. Or solid colors and then you can color it white.

2 Desaturate your image (CTRL + SHIT +U) or make a hue/sat. layer and set the sat. to -100 and merge.

3 Duplicate your base at soft light 100% If it's too bright change the opacity. This step isn't required but makes my picture looks better so if you'd like to skip it, then feel free to!

4 Now merge everything.

5 Take this texture by world_dreams, the color bars are by me. Now set that layer at multiply 100%

6 Now for the part where you pick one of those three icons. Here are the brushes: (pleasemake them a brush or paste at multiply)

by pale_septembre from here @ petit_pixel or by unknown or if you want text, make a text layer on top of everything. I used georgia on italic.

7 Picked your icon? good. Make a new layer (FOR THE BURSHES:) and stamp your brush with your desired color. Or paste the brush at multiply 100% Now using an eraser, zoom in your icon and erase the parts that are covering your person. slowly so you don't get mixed up and pissed x) (FOR THE TEXT) After making the text layer, resterize it. Now take the eraser (not a big one) and zoom in your icon and erase the parts covering your person.

DONE! Add whatever you if you want where ou want how you want.
RESULTS ARE LOVE! AND SO ARE COMMENTS <3

For this one, I set it on screen with the opacity 62% you can either put it on screen and play with opacity or keep it normal and play with the opacity if you want. I hope you do too!

We'll be making this:

1 Take this texture (by me) and paste it on a new 100 x 100 canvas.

2 Now open whatever icon you'll be using. If you want to follow along with mine, here it is:

3 Now click on the marquee tool. And on the tool bar options, click on the drop-down menu for the style. Pick fixed size. Next to that. You'll see the dimensions. Put in 50 x 50.

4 Now click anywhere in your icon. A square of running ants will appear. Now click and hold inside the box and drag to where you want. Happy? Edit >> Copy

5 Now go back to your texture canvas. Edit >> Paste. Move it to the right. Or wherever you want. But I put it to the right.

6Make a new layer. Don't change the blend mode. Keep it at normal. Make sure this new layer is under the icon picture you just pasted. So in the layer's pallette. You have to drag the new layer under the angelina pic.

7 Grab the marquee tool. Change the style to Normal (not fixed size!!) And with the tool. You are going to place it like this cross: Now drag it like this: see the running ants??

8 Take the fill tool and fill the running ants square with the color of your choice. I chose #7FB529 Please remember that your filling the square on the new layer.

9 Go back to your picture. There should be no running ants. Now resize the picture to 50 x 50. If it needs sharpening go to Filter >> Sharpen >> Sharpen.

10 Grab your marquee tool. Set the style to fixed size. Dimensions: 20 x 20. Click, move, and copy.

11 Back to the icon. Paste the small angelina pic 3 times. Move them all to the left (according to this tutorial). Now merge down the 3 pics (CTRL +E). Desaturate them (CTRL + SHIFT + U)

12 Now make another new layer. UNDER THE 3 PICS LAYER! Grab the marquee tool and set the style to normal. Make this on the new layer:

13 Grab the Fill tool. Fill with the color of your choice. I chose a very light grey. (#CFCFCF)

Final Touches!

14 Take this tiny text brush by me: and paste it wherever you want.

Done! I then used the font 'Angelina' to write the A

Enjoy!! Set this layer at Soft Light 100%

PAINT SHOP PRO

1 Make a new hue/saturation layer and raise the saturation to +20. Set this layer at Soft Light 100% Duplicate this layer. Now, you have two hue layers. Moving on..

2 Make a new layer at burn or color burn. Fill it with #21C8FF. With the eraser tool, carefully erase the parts of this layer that is covering your flower(s).

Done! Both results might now be the same. But close enough. That was the only way I can translate it to PSP. I'm sorry if it may not work. This tutorial was originally created for PS anyway.

Good Luck!
