There are some common misunderstanding with locked icon communities. I would like to let you know that this community is not locked, because I think my graphics are just so brilliant or because I want loads of members. Far from it. creative_muse is locked, because of hotlinking.

My photobucket account has started showing signs, that peoples are hotlinking my graphics and that's something what I wanna avoid. I know that hotlinking may seem harmless, but it uses up bandwidth and people hotlinking will make me run out.

I truly love sharing my graphics and graphics resources and I wish that I could do so publicly without worry my bandwidth, but I can’t. Locking my community has cut out some of my worry and it has made posting and sharing my graphics more enjoyable for me.

I hope that this post has made my reasons for being "members only" a lil bit more clear. If you are still not interested in joining, I completely understand.
