creative100! This community was inspired by similar icon challenge communities such as iconfiend100, icons100 or music100. The subject you choose can be a single person (actor, actress, musician, tv character, movie character), a whole group (musicians), a couple, a movie, or a tv show.
So how does this community work? Anyone, who's interested in participating can claim a subject that will be theirs alone for the duration of the challenge. As implied in the name of the community, the challenge here is to create 100 icons of the same subject, using a list of themes that will be given. It's up to you as the icon maker to interpret them however you want, but you don't need to be an expert to join; anyone is welcome to try their hand at this! Still interested? Then read on!
R U L E S
- You must be a member to participate in this challenge, so befor add something at the claimlist, please join the community. Anyone's welcome to join the community, but posting access will only be given once your claim has been approved.
- If your claim is taken by anyone else, you can post your claim at the wishlist.
- You may claim a maximum of one subject Once approved, it will be up to you to complete the challenge of creating 100 icons for your subject. You've 10 weeks to complete your challenge. If you need longer cause something in real life takes your time, just give a short notice at the claimlist.
- Only one claim can be made for each subject at a time. First finish one, then claim another one.
- You don't have to post all 50 or 100 icons in one go. You can post your completed icons in batches, and not necessary in the same order as the themes either. There are no restrictions as to how many icons you have to make at one time, but please don't post less than 3 icons in a posting .
- If your icon post contains more than 3 icons, please place them behind an LJ-cut. A maximum of three teaser icons are allowed. Label your post with appropriate warnings, if it contains icons of gaphical nature and they must be placed behind a LJ-cut.
- Please create new icons for the challenge. It defeats the whole purpose if all you're going to do is rummage through your older works and pick out icons that pertain to the themes to repost.
- A part of the challenge is to use all the themes given to create icons. If you claim 50 icons, you must chose 50 themes. No matter which. If you claim 100 icons, you had to use all 100 themes. However, the themes can be interpreted as you want. There's the point to be creative!
