I haven't posted much in this community, hardly if ever (whoops?), but I did do my part to contribute to the fandom here. Thus, I've made some icons! There are about four of them, one from Phantom, the other three from random and various pictures of dear ol' Michael.

They can all be found here; http://animalcrackerz.livejournal.com/

Anyone may use them, and please do! I simply ask that you credit me, and comment if you enjoy them. I plan on makin' s'more in the future! :D ♥

Michael on A&E! [29 Jan 2006|02:29pm]

Hi Everyone! This morning I saw the Phantom special on A&E! It showed some interviews with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cameron Macintosh , Harold Prince, and Gillian Lynn.. Also during these interviews, it showed some footage of the current Broadway cast and showed a clip of Sarah and Steve singing All I Ask of You.. But the best came on LAST!! A wonderful interview with the Original Phantom, Michael!!! It was a great interview.. Michael is looking very great and very handsome too!! He doesn't look 64 years old to me.. I believe this interview was filmed the weekend before the Gala of Phantom.. Michael talked about The Phantom , Buster Keaton , John Lennon and Gene Kelly.. He told the story about meeting Gene .. It was so very funny.. I've heard the story over a million times, but it gets better and better each time Michael tells it... It was a great interview..

It showed the footage of Michael at the Gala saying The Phantom's Line "Go" at the end of the Gala on the 9th.. Also, it showed some of him with Sarah in Phantom..

I hope you all got to see this special and interview!! I had a great morning!

Love,
Lisa

Michael to give charity gala concert in Orlando FL [28 Aug 2005|08:31pm]

[ music | All I ask of you ]

Michael is going to be giving another Charity gala concert in Orlando FL on November 20th. I got really excited about this until I saw the price of tickets.. I believe tickets are $250.. I hope maybe there is a lower price ticket.. Orlando FL is kinda near me. It would be a 5 or 6 hour drive for me.. It's not as far as Virginia would be.. I hope maybe things will work out for this concert if Michael doesn't give a concert in Atlanta.. I'm still hoping on Atlanta though.. It's a popular and historial city.

Here is the link with information on the Orlando concert:

Now introducing: Nekona! [14 Jun 2005|10:54am]

Ola. I am an 18 year old gal from Central California. When I was little, I remember watching a movie. it was called Hello Dolly. As I was young, most of it bored me half to death. However, there were parts I did enjoy: The antics of Barnaby and cornelius. In January, I saw Phantom of the Opera in New York and bought the original cast album. I have to say I am now a MC fan. He can be sos erious, and then go and be a complete and total goofball. Plus, he has the best voice on the planet. Well. That's my lame-o introduction. Au revoir!

♥ Hello! I'm Meghan & I am 15. I just joined. =]

I think this community is awesome.

I adore Michael Crawford, I think he has the best voice of our time. I love how he can be all creepy awesome Phantom one minute & then turn around and be hilarious. Also, I can't wait until I am 28 and 3/4, so I can go around telling people that. *giggle*

I don't, although, know anything about when, where, or even if he is touring. I can most likely go anywhere in the US to see him. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!

serious buisness [16 May 2005|02:17pm]

steerpikesister
there is something we need to do.

Susan Kay's Phantom is out of print, and seemingly going to stay that way.

in order for those without this wonderful book to have access at long last, i propose that a mission should be undertaken by the dedicated Phantom Phans of these communities.

your mission, should you wish to aid in my endevour, is this:

we must make an E-Book.

if a few people who own the book would take the time to type out a chapter each and make it available on the internet, then this could be accomplished in very little time. if sufficiant people step forward, we may only have less to write indevidualy.

now, i understand the implications of this copyright breach and bad manners, but i must ask; it is time that this was done.

who is with me?
