I think I am in love...
... with my new camera. It arrived on Tuesday and since then I took quite a lot of pictures, just trying around. And boy, those pix are big ... as well as the movies, at least when I take them in high resolution which is like more than 1000 x I don't know what, HD for TV. Definitely too big to view them on my screen (1024x768) in their original size. The display is fabulous, it makes the pitcures look even better then on screen and it's definitely huge ;) The zoom could be more but I discovered that the digital zoom is quite okay to use as well, unlike many other cameras. I have to try around much more, there are 22 different modes (portrait, landscape, landscape at night, multi res, food, party, fireworks, ...) plus the normal mode plus the "intelligent" mode where the camera sets a lot of stuff depending on what the situation is like. Plus filming plus a clipboard which saves low res pictures to the internal memory of the camera (lousy 50MB) as some kind of memories. Very cool.
( Some pictures - well, to be exact: 22 pictures, 600x450 res - not really dial up friendly )

I'm heading off home having spent £700 at the wholesaler buying Jewellery and stuff for my shop. Really pleased about what I got.

My lady seems to be missing me and my gentleman elf thing wants to see me as well. Nice to be wanted :D

You have been selected to participate in the beta test of World of Warcraft®: Wrath of the Lich King™. Welcome!
In the beta test you will get an opportunity to play the new Northrend continent, the Death Knight hero class, and character levels above 70. We look forward to your feedback on the overall experience, including quests, monsters, zones, aesthetics, and more. We would also appreciate reports on any bugs you may encounter.
I am in ur Northrend, Poking ur Arthas <3
For the sanity of my flist and those who wish to remain unspoiled I will put my screenies etc behind cuts. If you want to know stuff etc, let me know and I'll do my best to arrange it.
Other Warcraftnews:
Yesterday in raid we downed Solarian on the 2nd try (and we did Voidy as well) no loots for me, just DKP. But it's overall a nice thing.
This puts us now at TK 2/4, SSC 4/6, MH 1/5

My first chapter was accepted. I had done chapter three and send in and he wanted me to add some more to it I have done that a send it back and now I am just waiting for approval so that I can go on to chapter two which is the lit. review. This chapter is going be the longest yet. I must read through all the researches that I have and I then have to write a summary for each sources and I have a lot of sources. So this is going to take a while to do.

New Phones
This weekend I need to pick up a new phone subscription and a new Phone to go with it (when you take a sub here in the Dutchlands, you often get a free new phone or pay a minor fee for it).
I will be honest, I want a phone to use the internet, see some movies (DR who on the buss is awesome) etc.
The new thing right now is the Iphone, with the current gig I need I can get that thing for free (and wait a week since it's sold out) or I can the "larger GB" version of the Nokia N95.
I currently have a N91 which I love and has lasted for a long time (it's still operating like it's new <3) so I do like Nokia a lot. And I am not a big fan of the Ipod since I never understood the reasoning why I had to shelve out $200 extra just because it says I-pod.
Still I am gonna do rounds in the city this week to se what people have to say. So far two shops today told me that N95 is the best choice over the Ipod (this having to do with the I pos having less features etc)
SO if you guys know something about it. please let me know.

Hi All, a Real Life Post!
So I'm playing on the internet while my Yatala Pie heats up in the oven. Mmm.. Yatala Pie. Pepper Steak Yatala Pie. For all non-Queenslanders? Yatala Pie should be the symbol of our state. I don't know what it is about them that makes them special, they're just.. pies. From Yatala. But they're home-made and they're good. *inhales general pie-cooking-in-my-house scent*
Poor George is in bed with some form of stomach sickness. We're not sure what's caused it (too much ginger in his morning juice? Too much caramel in his morning coffee?) but he's well enough to want some pie. Only 5 more minutes til that baby is done!
Work has been interesting. It's been busy. Today was an absolute CRAP day, but mainly because I was dealing with clients who had their claims declined. I swear, the world has such a narrow view on insurance. I mean.. if your roof leaked because you were too lazy to clean it or maintain it, how is that our fault? Newsflash: Gutters need to be cleaned. Bah, I won't get any further into it, because I just get angry. And there's fist-shaking involved when I'm angry.
This weekend just gone was great, though. I was absolutely flat out and didn't get to do any house stuff, but it was great. The weather was PERFECT. I mean.. really perfect. No clouds, no rain, no massive wind, no overly hot, no overly cold.. it was just great. Went to a nice seafood restaurant at Sanctuary Cove (and ate chicken!) on Saturday with George's workmates. They're great people, they really are. Then we took them fishing, where we proceeded to catch nothing. They left, and we met up with more people to go fishing. We caught nothing. Well, Nathan caught a Pike Eel, but we had to throw that little beauty back into the drink.
When we woke up on the boat on Sunday the sky was clear again, and the water was just gorgeous. You could see for about 5 metres down and could look at the Butter Bream attacking the bait on the end of the line. We just sat there for about 3 hours getting excited whenever a big Bream got daring enough to take a bit, but never actually managed to catch one.
Then we drove home. Past Yatala. Where there were pies.
Now that I've established the importance of Pies, I'm going to take mine out of the oven and eat it. Please enjoy your Pie Envy!

Dear Phone:
Y'know, it would work so much better if you could actually TELL me when people try to call me. Barring that, maybe you might consider informing me of voice mails slightly earlier than oh say FIVE HOURS after they are left?
Thanks, Me.
Not that I wanted to go in on my off day to herd the stupid inconsiderate bastards that are shopping at our store (though demolishing it as they verbally assault the employees would be a more accurate phrase that sadly is not too far into the realm of exaggeration) but I would've liked to have been able to call back and tell the managers that I had plans rather than look like a prat.
I frakking hate AT&T. Had my old phone not stopped working altogether (okay I could get and hear calls but not speak) I would've braved the world of cell phone service with another provider. As it is, I had to go back to those jerks because it's the only phone I have (because I can't afford both a land and cell phone and really you should be able to get by with just a cell).

In demand
So, I dragged my ass into town (dreading I'd be stood up) costing me £15 in taxis as I live so far out of town.
I bump into my bandmates (I play lead guitar in a all girl metal band FYI) by accident. I'm gothed up to the 9's as per my angel's request and I get a text to say she's late.
I'm in a club on 2 floors. I've not been on the goth/metal scene for 7 years. I know most people there. And I'm in demand.
