Time And Relative Dimensions In Scarfs
It's not done by a long shot.

But I'm proud.

I have learned the knit (garter) stitch and I'm making a Season 12 Scarf!

I have six rows of the first purple block done (30 rows to go before I have to learn how to change colors)!

Pictures behind the link. (Or, if you don't belong to Ravelry, HERE is a link to my flickr tag for the project I call My first "Time Scarf".)

Pay no attention to the fact that I cast on 65 stitches and somehow have ended up with 76 stitches on this latest row.

It's a wibbly-wobbly knitty-witty thing.

You may "Ooo and ahh" now.

Products of the last 2 months
Hello there all! Doctor Who began to take over my life this spring, and, unlike any other of my fandoms, it has given me a strange desire to make things. Things that often make the rest of my family shake their heads at me.

Today I bring you a rather rickety TARDIS and The Scarf

Yet Another Scarf.

Made this for a friend I have who really resembles Tom Baker.  It only took... oh, two months.  And it weighs a ton.  I think I'll reduce the width on the next one by half.

Scarf and snow dorkness
So there are two things under the cut....the season 12 scarf that I finished knitting oh, a month or so ago and my attempt at building a Dalek out of the snow that finally fell. It wasn't pretty, but I thought I'd share  :)

Plush K-9 and Tom Baker Scarf

This is a full-length replica I made of Tom Baker's scarf, based on the season 12 pattern from DoctorWhoScarf.com. I also handmade the plush K-9 out of corduroy and felt, which I created from memories of a similar K-9 I got in the 80s from a Dr. Who convention in Chicago.

Halloween Costume

Hi Everyone!

Who is the cutest Fourth Doctor besides Tom Baker?
ME OF COURSE!!

Pictures! )

I made the scarf myself from the official pattern using acrylic yarn. (If I had used the good stuff, I wouldnt be able to afford rent. Lol.) I hope you like it!

Proud to be a Prydonian

The scarf is a bit more than halfway done, so I still have to block it and stretch it and make it look nice.
(I really love how the scarf gets a definite article on the tags list.)

So, for those of you with Doctor Who scarves...

How in the heck are you washing and drying those things?

Time for that Scarf Photo-Shoot
I spotted this over on the main page of www.doctorwhoscarf.com today and I thought the man who brought us such a wonderful pattern ought to get as many scarf-shots as we can give him.

UPDATE (9/26/07) YOUR SCARF PHOTOS

For a while now I've been wanting to create a page that showcases people's own Dr Who scarves created using the info from this site. (or any Who scarves for that matter) I think it would be fun to be able to see the results of everyone's efforts! Please email them on over!

Another scarf. I finished it a couple of weeks ago, and took it with me to London so I could get this shot.
