It's Con time again.
Hullo group! I've been an avid lurker here for a while. I'm just now getting the courage to post. Everyone's so talented. I've been working on the same Four scarf for 6 months.

Here's my question. I'm going to Dragon*Con this year as Romana I. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I might build myself a tracer.

My friend offered to dress up as Banky from Chasing Amy and be my tracer. But I think it would throw off the line of the outfit.

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

Many Hugs!

another geeky dress design
A month or so back I posted the prom dress I made for my sister, with the Seal of Rassilon on the belt. Well, yesterday I watched "Evolution of the Daleks" with my sisters (we're working our way through series 3; I've seen it but they haven't) and I got to thinking -- what would a mutant dalek-human hybrid wear to the prom? Probably a question that has never crossed anyone's mind before and never will again.

Now I just need to find someone who would wear it so I can make the real thing.

(I hope it's okay to post this here. I figured that since it was a design for something 3d, and not a piece of 2d artwork in and of itself, it would be all right, but if not it can be deleted.)

Vortex Manipulator
Well, I was kind of bored this afternoon so I decided to make Jack Harkness' vortex manipulator. Basic materials are felt, hot glue and a bit of old cd plastic for support in the centre. One day I would like to make a proper one out of leather, but for now this will do.

first post and ambitious project
so i just found you guys.
and everything is delicious.
absolutely everything.

but i was wondering if anyone had really good (read: big and detailed, back and front) pictures of ten's brown pinstripe suit, coat, white shirt, and tie from "smith and jones".

for the fourth marking period in my tailoring class, we have a completely free project to do whatever.
i figure since i already made a suit first semester, the second suit shouldn't be too hard.
but, because of there not being paper patterns for it, i'll have to wing it and see what happens. XD
so the more detailed the picture, the more accurate the pattern will be.

now i just need to find the fabrics and coverses. xp

thanks in advance! - leenie

Cybermen Costumes
As promised, here are pictures of the 60's era Cybermen costumes I designed for my family. Nothing fancy, just gray shirts and fabric paint. At least we found one Doctor Who fan to recognize us!

Halloween Costume

Hi Everyone!

Who is the cutest Fourth Doctor besides Tom Baker?
ME OF COURSE!!

I made the scarf myself from the official pattern using acrylic yarn. (If I had used the good stuff, I wouldnt be able to afford rent. Lol.) I hope you like it!

TARDIS key
I'm going as the fourth Doctor for Halloween. Whenever I put together a costume, I end up obsessing over little details, and this time it was getting a TARDIS key to wear around my neck. I have neither the time nor money to get one off of eBay, so I made one myself...
