filet crochet ood and adipose

Hi there everyone - here are a couple more of my Doctor Who filet crochet projects.

An Adipose in filet crochet:

finished size around 10.5 inches x 10.5 inches
chart, opens in new window

An Ood in filet crochet:

finished size around 13 inches x 13.25 inches
chart, opens in new window

Also put up on ravelry.

Charts can be used for other projects (knitting, needlework, etc). Please credit me if you link elsewhere and definitely post pictures here if you work any of my charts!

Most of my other Doctor Who filet crochet projects/charts are also compiled on my livejournal.

Thank you!
I never knew that tentacles would be so hard to chart.

you know I never thought of that. I would imagine that would be really hard to chart. It is quite perfect looking though. You did an amazing job!

These are awesome! I was describing how cool doilies and the like could be a few days ago, thinking of your filet crochet projects.

You might want to flock these, though.

Thank you!

Of course doilies are cool! Lack of space to display and use them, though, means that most of my doilies are stored away - so sad.

Thanks for the f-locking suggestion; I'm choosing to keep them unlocked for now.

Awesome! And I think those charts will translate fairly well to cardweaving. I've been working on some TARDIS bookmarks lately.

oh, neat. I think I saw your post on ravelry about that bookmark. Most of my charts seem to run at least 40 squares wide - if I understand how cardweaving works, that would be a *lot* of cards.

Actually, that TARDIS is taking 45 cards, and it wasn't quite wide enough to do the text properly.
