Scarf and snow dorkness
So there are two things under the cut....the season 12 scarf that I finished knitting oh, a month or so ago and my attempt at building a Dalek out of the snow that finally fell. It wasn't pretty, but I thought I'd share :)
So first of all, here is my lovely scarf. I was so proud of myself, I got it done in just under two weeks. My fingers were SSOORREE after all that knitting but I was so proud!
Of course I wore it EVERYWHERE I went after I was done, despite it being 70 outside. Stupid texas. I showed it to my boyfriend, of course, and he thought it was too impractical. Unless, of course, it was wrapped around your head a billion times, in which case it was quite usefull because it was really very warm.
Isn't he cute? But THANKFULLY it got freakishly cold today and I actually had an excuse to wear it outside :) It's quite a good snow catcher. Which brings me to my other thing. So I was looking through the posts today and I saw how someone had made a snow Dalek and so when the snow started to fall I wanted to make one too. But since we haven't had snow like this in my part of Texas for over ten years my skills are a bit...oh...rusty. Anyway, without further ado..my dalek!
And because I couldn't resist.....
I would have put Exterminate...but I didn't have enough room. Well, that's about it for now. Hope you enjoyed :)
